Right on ...I have'd played this song for over five years in The Alice Cooper Experience and am always tweaking it. What you did is really close to what I have done but their were a lot of times I had to play it with no second guitar or keyboard...fill in all the extra parts...great job. Will always be the best Alice Cooper song ever!
Hi. First thanks for the view nd nice comment! Yes this one is tough trying to pick which guitar parts to try and learn to fill where you can to hopefully make it sound as close as possible. I'm in total agreement as my favorite AC song too. Thanks Again!!
Hello my friend and thanks so much for the view and nice comment. I also checked out your channel and you have some great covers on there as well. Thanks again!!
Killer track pardon the pun. Boy do you do it justice. First Album I bought and this was the go to track. Oh to be 14 again. Cheers for the work that obviously went into this
Hi my friend. Thanks so much for the view and great comment! Yes I agree what a great album this is and especially this song too. This one was especially difficult to figure the parts out. Thanks again!!
I wanted to learn to play guitar because I saw Michael Bruce at an early Alice Cooper concert in Philly at the TLA on South st. in 1970 ( i think) and I went out and bought a custom SG white with gold Les Paul hardware and three humbuckers on it. I didn't have it too long, it was stolen from my van and I never picked up another electric guitar again. So after finding you I think I'm going to have to get another one, maybe not a custom just a standard. I was looking for some Alice to play on my acoustic and found your Holo Of Flies and I can't believe all the songs you got that I grew up with. Humble Pie, Yea ! Steve Marriott was my all time fav singer. Foghat, nice!
Hey friend. So sorry for the late reply to your great comment. I somehow overlooked several and always do my best to reply to each one. Really appreciate the views to my other videos and again the nice comment. Yes that original AC band was definitely the best and really lost interest after they split up. Thanks again!
Thank you very much for posting this. My favorite song by, Alice Cooper, and I did not know which guitar part to follow. I like your version. Well done!
Wonderful, being listening to the Coop since 1971, it has been the background music to my life, still buy his vinyl. From the original band I would say the best is Generation Landslide, Blue Turk, followed by this.
I know I was one of them playing it over and over trying my best to figure any of it out also. Those were the days... Really appreciate the view and comment!
@@jbl5050 It's my pleasure. Excuse my english because i'm a french man, from Montreal, Canada. I have at my home a signed photograph from Alice Cooper. Ciao man. You play very well, like Michael Bruce or Glen Buxton, you'r choice!
At 6:00, you couldn't resist playing the bass part, could you - but who could at that point? I know I couldn't. Great job. This is one of the songs I played for friend who knew AC songs from the 80s and not from the original members. He was quickly made a believer.
Thanks for the view and comment. Yeah I tried. I debated before recording, do I play thru it or sit there still for a minute looking like a dork. I went with both...
I remember all of us junior high girls and boys loved Alice Cooper's Love It To Death album and the Killer album. We enjoyed the Gothic themed rock music because it strayed from the common rock music of its day. The girls loved Alice Cooper more than the guys back in the day.
Hi. Good to hear from you. Hope you're doing well. I've been wanting to do this one for awhile and had most of the parts down just never finished it until I decided to work on it this weekend. Thanks again for the view and comment!
Hi. Thanks for the tip on the Michael Bruce video. I actually watched that while I was trying to learn Halo Of Flies to try and get some tips on how he played the song originally.
Hi my friend and sorry for my delay in replying. I wanted to thank you for your view and the nice comment on the song here. I don't currently know how to play Killer, but I'll add it to my list of songs I'm currently working on for some new videos I'm about to upload .
Just came across this and watched it again - one of my fave guitar covers on all of RUclips! This inspired me to do a bass cover of this amazing song! ruclips.net/video/UTuTqiComWw/видео.html&t Your cover is so precise and well done! Bravo! Could have sworn I left a comment for you on this months ago but I don't see it...
Hi and good to hear from you my friend. Thanks so much for the view and comment! I just watched your Bass cover and it was perfect as usual. I thought I remember you leaving a comment on this one as well a while back but maybe not. Anyway thanks again and appreciate what you do as well!
@@jbl5050 yeah I’m sure I left a comment when I watched this initially because that’s inspired me to do the bass cover… who knows! Anyway love watching your work on this. Your precision is amazing!
The best AC song that no one knows! Great job!

@@jbl5050Well, it kinda did; at least back in 1971...I wore out several stylii playing it...
Well, I know it because my friend had the album back in the early 70s and I borrowed it all the time. It's one of the best.
Right on.
Thanks for the view and nice comment, my friend!
