Hi there, To be honest I'm not sure! But it is super rough! As long as it will file a 90° angle!!

I saw somevideos where they pour water or left the stone stays in water for some minutes, what's the difference of doing this dry ?

Hi, This is A ceramic sharpening stone that would be a water stone!

From what I've read, wetting the stone helps make the stone last longer. I imagine the water adds a bit of lubrication so you aren't just grinding the stone away and eroding it.

Don't rub with a file! Only cuts on the push stroke! You will flaten the teeth!
