I think the plot simply wasn't developed enough. It's an ad after all. If it's a movie or drama with longer duration, they may add more stories and characters, etc. For an ad, it's good enough to make people don't want to skip it.

I got my first phone when I was 18, signed up myself, I got it because ppl seem to start being late for appointments regularly They can say they are otw when they have phones! Okay, I just followed this ad because I feel really really hurt. It’s hard to watch this without crying, coz you see her whole family is there. They’re whole, they’re together and she leaves them because she feels like they don’t fit her spectrum. All the while there are others out there who have broken families who will be so far from each other on the holidays who would pray for their family to be like hers: whole. I had my first phone when I was 16 years old. Imagine that! Bought it using money I won in a competition. Phones isn't a necessity. If can, work for it yourself. You will treasure it more.
