@@pineapplesupreme6159 See it's funny, if you come from poverty, you work so hard that even if you manage to be successful, you still live like you're poor despite what you can afford. You decide to have a family and work even harder, trying so hard to make your child grow up differently and much more comfortably. The parents aren't blameless of course, but it's a common story. It's easy to judge from the outside because you're not involved with their everyday life, the interactions and untold and established dynamic. You just see the result. I had my first phone when I was 16 years old. Imagine that! Bought it using money I won in a competition. Phones isn't a necessity. If can, work for it yourself. You will treasure it more. Your parents doesn't owe you a phone just because they promised you one. You owe them much much more for feeding, homing, clothing and most importantly, love u.

We didn't have mobile phones in the past. It seems that yesterday's wants became today's needs, and I can understand why since the world is moving so quickly. However, hopefully keeping in mind that we didn't need mobile phones in the past may encourage you. (:

bruh, if I have this kind of daughter, I rather don't have a kid, so ungrateful and no respect to her own parent. and the mom is kind of...... if you don't like to work that much, told your daughter to do some part-time and pay her own damn phone. and ask her mom 100$ for an unnecessary dress? girl, you want something then work for it, really, what is the point of this ad?

Are we celebrating the pervasiveness of privileged and entitled young and poor parenting under the pernicious guise of capitalism and materialism???
