Thank you so much! Wish I had seen this years ago! Your thoughts re braid not having an electronic signature really resonated with me. Yes I have a Cannon but will consider braid in the future bearing in mind I will lose the auto stop. Will research further. Any other advice for my
    situation with a Cannon rigger?

If I had cannons I would probably keep the cable for the autostop. I switched to scotties and therefore can still have autostop.

Ok, great idea on the heavy cord up front. What pound cable is it? How long? And where is it available?
Thanks again for a great 💡.

I am using 200lb power pro. Scotty also puts out their own cord too.

what kind and how long of leader cable is attached to the braid?
And how did you join it together?
    What about the stopper?

I used the scotty leader cables. All knots used were palomar knots. The stopper i bought scotty stoppers and added to the braid. I put one near the ball and 1 15ft up for the stacker

How long will that brae last? I mean with no fraying issues.

If you fish in rocky /boulder lakes you will lose weights with braid.

I fish rocky and Boulder areas all the time and never have had an issue.
