If anything good deeds being publicized always rubbed me the wrong way, as if philanthropy automatically makes you impeccable, virtuous, or worthy of idolizing. Charity is private and not to be boasted about.

That's most news these days. Social media took over and is now the primary source of news since everything can be said briefly in a matter of seconds of it happening. Unless it's breaking news, these kinds of stories have to go through schedules, script checks, interviews, and some post production for presentation, which could take days. That and the fact that the mainstream media and the majority of people don't really know anything about RUclips fame, so they're already going to be really behind on stuff like this from the start.
An actual news channel covering it now , it's more serious than anticipated. Keep in mind there's a lot more allegations going on than this that may be talked about soon, and I think the woman who was being interviewed handled everything very professionally. @@faribrathwaite7080 I mean shii, why do you think that the NFL, Nickelodeon, or whatever big names are doing what they’re doing? They want that status and money too, but it ain’t just a bad thing. There’s good that comes out of it. I can’t do anything relatively close compared to them because I ain’t bringing in much to truly change many people’s lives around unless words of encouragement is enough. That’s why I don’t get salty whenever they do that because at least it’s beneficial for others regardless if it’s shown or not.
