So This is a Rant On The Minecraft Community, Now as you Guys Know Recently The Minecraft Community Is Toxic, There has Been a rise In Dream Stans, And Unlike Other Creators Dream Supports Stan Culture, And These Dream stans have Started Abusing Their Power, Dream stans Cancel anyone for doing nothing, This has gotten so Bad That Dream Was Cancelled Like 100 Times, Even Technoblade Was Cancelled, and Most People Agree Technoblade is a good Person, But Because Technoblade Made Some Jokes Technoblade Got Cancelled, This has gotten so bad That People Like TommyInnit, Jshlatt, KSI Have had to leave twitter because of all the stans attacking them, What Happened To The Minecraft Community, Why Is The Minecraft Community So Toxic Now, I Grew up watching Minecraft RUclipsrs Like SSundee, BajanCanadian, And SkyDoesMinecraft, I was a huge Fan of TeamCrafted, I never once thought about cancelling them, I just Don't Understand what Happened to Minecraft, This honestly Needs to Stop, These Dream stans Are Toxic, Stans in general are Toxic, So This is The Minecraft Community Rant, And My Thoughts on the Minecraft Community

For example look at mrbeast, he has a huge fan base but can still easily control it
Back in like 2013-2016 the biggest youtubers were DanTDM, Stampy, Iballisticsquid and many more youtubers who made our childhood. The viewers were just us wanting to see the new mods from dantdm or stampy's lovely world and just enjoy it. It's sad to see such a wholesome and amazing community slowly deteriorating becuz of the new set of minecraft community

i dont like associating the dream community with the minecraft community because of exactly how different they really are, if you look into it, the dream smp community is usually where all of the toxicity and stans are from, the rest of the minecraft community is quite laid-back and quiet

That's not true. Sometimes people forget that the Dream SMP is not the only part of mcyt. Hermitcraft Season 8 started yesterday so it's a great time to find more content creators! Also another smp that started recently was Empires SMP! That's great as well! My recommendation is to ignore the stans and let them say the stupid shit. And ofc one other SMP is starting it's second season in September, but you can binge the first season in a few days, Third Life SMP. So yeah that's all!

It's mostly the dream smp community. Many og minecrafters have really nice and friendly communities. The hermitcraft subreddit for example is always positive and inspiring.

Before I say anything I just want to clarify that Im sticking up for anyone who is doing this stuff. I just want to say that its isnt the minecraft community thats doing this. It is the minecraft youtube fanbase, specifically there twitter followers. Not everyone is like this and it seems bigger because the twitter followers have so much influence that they can do what ever they want. When really its a smaller portion of the fanbase controlling everything. Its not the community as a whole it is mostly the twitter community and specifically if I had to guess it is the newer generation of fans. Not us who have been around since the good old days of team crafted.

I think we are letting that bird app influence our opinions, lets assume that there are 10 million mcyt stans on twitter, even then there are 13 million dream subs on yt alone, that have still not been influenced by stan twitter, and then ther eis hermitcraft! Most wholesome communtiy imo:) we also have techno' community and i think its safe to assume that atleast 1 million techno fans arent subbed to dream, thats a lot of wholesome! Because even technotwt is a wholesome place! Much much much better than the rest of the twitter fandom!
In my opinion, the best way to solve the problem of stans is to pay as little as possible attention to that bird app:D
And i dont wanna sound like a stan lol, legit yesterday there were 4 people dogpiling on me and telling me to kill myself but the only reason it didnt affect me is because i think of the stans as lowly beings, like the lower class or smth, their words shouldnt matter to us normal people. I take death threats from twitter stans as compliments and advice everyone to do so:)

I wouldn't say that it's because of stans, but because of a larger community. With a larger community you get more toxic people. When people hate it gets more attention so that's why a lot of big fanbases seem toxic.
When Dream reinforced Stan Culture, that's when the Minecraft Community died.
Not only that, but there are a lot of toxic people that hate on people because they prefer a different version, or they play differently.
Man I miss the days when the most serious thing was when a RUclipsr didn’t upload for longer than usual or when they didn’t win in PVP or something.
Minecraft itself and the people who play it have gotten better in my opinion, but the toxicity of the fans/stans just ruin it. Hopefully we return o the glory days, when both the RUclipsrs and the community were positive

Twitter stans have been around for a long time. It's just recent years when they have migrated to Minecraft. It's unfortunate.
As a fan of the Dsmp I’m mostly there for the creators, some of the fans are obsessed that it’s gotten way to far

dream likes to stay out of drama while his community is the one causing all the drama. he is just too scared to interact with his fanbase in any way that is anything except tickling them with a feather because he will be the extreme center of attention, and i mean it in a negative way.

The dream stans legit said they will slit my throat if i dont leave twitter because i said that Dream is enabling their fans to the point where its making Minecraft look bad. Am i in the wrong? I think something people misunderstand about fans/stans whatever you want to call them is that they have a mind of their own. They truly do. A creator can tell them to stop and they will continue to do what they want. But also bringing attention to this matter also causes a lot of discourse and more bad stuff to happen.
Being in the public and having fans, antis, and people preying on your downfall is a major thing and it’s difficult but if a creator doesn’t speak up then they’re demonized. If they speak up they’re demonized. If speaking up doesn’t work they’re demonized. If speaking up caused more problems(which it often does) they’re demonized. Dream essentially cannot win.
And this is not limited to dream it’s in general and for all creators but since many comments are talking about dream I’m speaking on him. Creators cannot control millions of people. At the end of the day they do what they want and that’s just a fact which is seemingly difficult for y’all to accept. Dream is basically a scapegoat and if something shitty happens y’all immediately go “well it’s all because of dream” because he’s an easy target and this is also toxic behavior that y’all show but don’t acknowledge.
This community has always had toxic fans. Always. That’s a fact. It didn’t JUST start. It’s been here. But now Minecraft popularity is very high and the internet is very abundant and very accessible which means there’s going to be more horrible fans that show toxic behavior and are paid more attention to than any of the good. People focus on negativity. Dream happens to be a super popular Minecraft creator and has a huge fan base ergo there’s gonna be more toxics showing their ass. THATS HOW IT WORKS. This isn’t new at all but you blaming “the downfall of MCYT” on dream is utterly ridiculous but you fail to see it.

Dream SMP Community is what you mean. There’s HermitCraft which is a bunch of friends playing Minecraft and building, Minecraft Championship Reddit is such a nice community and really wholesome. There’s so much more to the Minecraft community than just the Dream SMP.
Don't blame it on the Dream SMP community. Not all are as toxic as that. Sure some people are but not all. It's like seeing one toxic person in that community and basing it all off of that. But yes I agree, there's a lot more to the Minecraft community then the Dream SMP community.

Minecraft was my childhood. I always had a dream of becoming a minecraft youtuber myself. However, the fact that my favorite game turned from a friendly place to a toxic battlefield honestly makes me want to cry. Why did the MC community go this way? Just..why? I still enjoy the game itself but the flavor I once had is gone, especially when the Popularmmos drama came up.

Wrong. Not too long ago, Grian had people sending slurs in his chat and he was heavily criticized for teaming with Techno (whom is still seen as racist by Twitter) during pride MCC. People are still toxic.

it’s really sad to see where this has gone… i grew up watching minecraft content, and i watch ONE youtube servers progress and get pushed into the fandom. the fandom itself is toxic, but the people are actually fun to watch. for example ; minecraft manhunt (dream) tommyinnit vlogs, tenchoblade (all of his videos) jschlatt (he is a literal comedian) , ect. also with the inappropriate fanart thing dream said he just doesn’t care at this point cuz he can’t really change the fact that they are doing it and also it’ll just bring more attention to it.
i’m so close to leaving the fan base because of what its become.
It really sucks how this is not only for minecraft. There can be famous content creators that don't make good content but is mainly targeted towards children so when people call out these people for their content, a bunch of kids mass dislike and yell at the creator for doing so.
