Hey Ian, don’t know if you read comments like this but I’ve been watching daily for several weeks and I just have some feedback.
1. The title ruins the usual interest that your videos would have. If you’re on 22 wins and going into the 23rd match, and the title says “23-0” then you basically spoil that you’re going to win that match and it becomes a lot less interesting. In general, advertising your videos by how well you perform backfires in my opinion. There is no suspense to the security of your win streak if you tell us your win streak; there is no suspense to you getting number 1 in a tournament if you tell us you get it.
2. The new commentary sections between games can be a nice break as you comment on the match-up, but in this video you basically spoiled the second match and once again it removed the interest that would have been there had I not known about what was going to happen in the match.
3. Talking about your life and telling stories while playing is awesome and engaging, like in this video. I think everyone wants more of this type of commentary!
Love your videos but I think it could be nice if you decreased the specificity of your titles and between-matches commentary.
