Lara was always facing the new ball. The openers didn’t last long and many times it was Lara and chanderpaul at 12-3 facing a fired up paceman and a brand new ball.
What I notice about this SA attack and subsequent SA attacks is that they have no problem fielding 3 bowlers who can bowl at or close to 90mph. And then I look at the WI, and we have so many issues with fielding bowlers who either can't bowl at 90mph or they can't do it for long periods of time without getting injured. Fitness and coaching are the weak points I think, and honestly it doesn't require the world of,money to fix those things
