@doriemckay6935 Good morning, Carson City is definitely a place to check out.
It's not horribly far from the Bay area and Nevada does not have income tax. I recommend that you go and spend a day there to see for yourself. Is quite different in the summer versus the winter. The winter gets snow & the summer is hot and somewhat like a desert. So you'd have to see for yourself if you like it or not. Definitely cheaper than the Bay area.

Me and bf are thinking about moving there from bay area CA. we haven't visited yet (we ve been to Reno and lake tahoe) but we like what we see on the videos and the proximity to Tahoe+Reno
Yes, we considered Carson City as well and did some house hunting for a bit. I also live in the Bay Area. Carson City has very small town feel and more like a desert in the summer. I would check it out in both the winter months and summer months to really get a feel for it.
The only way you can tell if somebody is doing drugs is if they have missing teeth, peels on their face, if they are harassing you, how they behave, how they act, how they act to others, and if they say things to hurt your feelings! Share this with whoever you know out their!
