The Norfolk policeman who clung to a bridge to save a teenage girl gets bravery award nomination

PC Joe Jermy was out on patrol in Dereham when he saw a teenage girl standing on the edge of the A47 flyover some 20 feet above the road and railway line below.
He is now in the running for a national bravery award for what he did next to save her life.

That's was me I was in a very dark place just loss all hope him and his girlfriend who is also a police officer visited me every day since then they were like my family I'm out off hosptail now and still rebuilding my life I thank him from the bottom off my heart and he is and always will be my hero I'm forever in his debt thankyou pal
