    Hey, was aking religious studies as my undergrad major, and was wondering if you would be taught the basics of how to wrie a thesis and what not, and if noit wha are some good places o learn?

      Hey! My main areas are social epistemology and philosophy of race, but I also work in feminist philosophy and sometimes philosophy of language (mostly speech act theory and conversational implicatures).

    Do you feel like someone taking 1 class a semester would still have their life taken over by the amount of work that needs to be done?

      I think it depends on a few factors. If it's just one grad seminar or undergraduate course it shouldn't take over your life. Philosophy courses don't usually require excessive amounts of reading. You do need to read carefully, but that should be manageable! However, if you have other things going on (family issues, part time job, etc.) it might be a lot.

      @@blackgirlphd "Philosophy courses don't usually require excessive amounts of reading."? Huh - you must study a different type of grad philo than I do. A typical seminar - once per week - is usually around 100 pages of dense philo talk.
