It has been a lot of years, but my husband and I met him, completely by chance. Fortunately, it was in a remote location. He and his wife Gloria were delightful and genuinely nice people. He will be missed.
I was in the Army in 1967 and happened across him giving a Live Concert i St Louis. They let me for free because I was in the Military. He was so great I forgot about all the terrible things happening in the world. His concert was a little piece of Heaven, If only for about a hour or so. Thanks for all the GREAT memory's. What I loved about BJ Thomas was his genuine kindness that came from his voice and demeanor, whether he was singing a gospel song or a contemporary song, his songs made me love God more and my husband too!! What a treasure he was, only God could do that!! How blessed he must be to be in the dear Lords presence! May God comfort his wife and daughters until they’re all together again!
One of the best vocalists of all time, regardless of musical genres. In addition, his live performances matched his recordings perfectly. He sang well his whole life, and lost nothing with age. Amazing!

BJ Thomas was always the most talented down to earth person we knew & we were so excited for BJ when he sang his hit song “Raindrops Keep Falli On My Head” in the movie “Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid” We all miss BJ & his beautiful voice!
