I lost 2 dogs. One was years ago and another one was a bit over a year ago. The game seems interesting, but honestly I can't play games like this because of it.
Fair point! I did like the original art style also. I like the first game somewhat, but felt it ran a bit choppy on switch 1…. and the controls/movement sometimes felt a bit loose. I guess I’m hoping that the 2nd game is a tighter-feeling and better-running experience overall. And hoping it offers a bit more variety as the game progresses.
@sfbsfb It played smoothly on Steam. Perhaps it was just a porting issue that made it choppy, I notice thst often when games port from steam to any other platform. Here's hoping they ironed it out and made it smooth.
Yes. I noticed quite a few Switch 1 ports appeared to have occasional ‘memory leak’ stutters. It has been years since I played Moonlighter 1… my recollection is that it seemed like a good port in general, but felt a bit “off” in some combat situations. In any case. I thought Moonlighter 2 looked nice in the indie world trailer. My guess is that Switch 2 will have no issues running it well.
to any indie devs that may see this: i hope you all realize it’s amazing how much work and passion yall put into these games. and i hope nintendo forever continues the “indie world” aspect of their brand, i love seeing awesome games being shown off. stay gold, devs!!

I am speaking as a huge DELTARUNE fan here, yall need to realise that due to the success of UT/DR, and his work with Nintendo on several occasions, Toby has surpassed his spot amongst indie titles. If there is going to be any DELTARUNE news, it'll be at a proper main direct. This sentiment could also be applied for Silksong. PLEASE give these other developers their chance in the spotlight. The majority of these developers are trying to set some footing for themselves in the game development scene, and theyre constantly being overshadowed as it is by larger titles, and it doesnt help when people arent even paying attention to whats being shown, and are instead asking for what they want. Im all for a bit of fun, but guys please be a bit more respectful towards these devs

@Alcremie869I know how it can work. On handheld mode, it can function as a touchscreen. While docked, you can use mouse controls with the Nintendo switch 2 joycon, or by using a USB mouse. Similar to how they got Mario paint to work on the SNES app for switch 1 and 2.

It would have been nice to see it and other smaller games spotlighted at TGA but they decided instead to give COE33 7 million nominations. That is the absolute worst trend of TGA is not capping the amount of nominations a game can get because a lot of us specifically watch these shows to be introduced to and celebrate more and different types of art.

@Tism_Man47that’s still a huge blockbuster title. Those typically don’t get announced in these kind of events as to A. Have a bigger spotlight on them by being announced at a more prestigious event and B. To not take attention off smaller indie projects. Those of us who have been following Nintendo for a while understand each of the direct types and what they are typically used for. Team cherry would likely opt for a much bigger ad spot to promote an expansion of what is one of the most successful indies in history.

I just recently finished the game, only to find out that the long time fans were like a second version of Hollow Knight fans before Silksong came out. Well, at least I now get to relate to the people who only played Hollow Knight close to the release of Silksong, because the Katana ZERO DLC is coming out soon, right? RIGHT?

Yeah... that is the main reason I don't bother to watch live most the time or have the chat up when I am watching, instead of people being hype or having interesting ideas about what is being shown it is just the most annoying parts of the internet, but magnified.

@callumddev yes, even I was hoping that maybe we’d get a teaser, but I knew the chance was extremely small and I’m not upset that we didn’t get a trailer. Deltarune (and also Silksong) are bigger parts of the Indie community and the point of Indie World is to show either smaller projects or to show that already existing Indie games coming to Switch
I swear everyone at these types of shows either A. Has seen one before and forgets what they are supposed to be or B. Has literally never seen one before

Deltarune silksong stardew hades etc… all of the “blockbuster” indies aren’t gonna be in these shows and take attention off the smaller projects in need of more love. Even blue prince I was suprised to see that on here but I think it’s still small enough where it can slide on. Those big indies are reserved for the big shows

@Tism_Man47that’s still a huge blockbuster title. Those typically don’t get announced in these kind of events as to A. Have a bigger spotlight on them by being announced at a more prestigious event and B. To not take attention off smaller indie projects. Those of us who have been following Nintendo for a while understand each of the direct types and what they are typically used for. Team cherry would likely opt for a much bigger ad spot to promote an expansion of what is one of the most successful indies in history.

I just recently finished the game, only to find out that the long time fans were like a second version of Hollow Knight fans before Silksong came out. Well, at least I now get to relate to the people who only played Hollow Knight close to the release of Silksong, because the Katana ZERO DLC is coming out soon, right? RIGHT?

Yeah... that is the main reason I don't bother to watch live most the time or have the chat up when I am watching, instead of people being hype or having interesting ideas about what is being shown it is just the most annoying parts of the internet, but magnified.

@callumddev yes, even I was hoping that maybe we’d get a teaser, but I knew the chance was extremely small and I’m not upset that we didn’t get a trailer. Deltarune (and also Silksong) are bigger parts of the Indie community and the point of Indie World is to show either smaller projects or to show that already existing Indie games coming to Switch

Deltarune silksong stardew hades etc… all of the “blockbuster” indies aren’t gonna be in these shows and take attention off the smaller projects in need of more love. Even blue prince I was suprised to see that on here but I think it’s still small enough where it can slide on. Those big indies are reserved for the big shows
