    On that second pull, if the delivery company makes a lot of construction site deliveries, first put lugged tires on the drives and teach your drivers to lock the drive axles together and trying not to spin the tires, then they might not need a recovery at all ! This comes from 40-something years of experience . But in a perfect world, there wouldn't be a need for Matt making these great videos!😊

    Thanks for the save Matthew, great service, prompt with his time estimate and the price quote was exactly what it cost us. We burnt up 3 little 2500 lb winches pulling on that P700

      Yes sir glad to help, even getting stuck on that darn stump on the way out 🤣

      How’s the tire holding up

      @@matt.mckinzie the tire never leaked down after the trail fix you did. We pulled the tire off the rim and cleaned it, there was about 3 gallons of water in there. Haha

    I guess you are the only one in Florida that owns a winch! All those people spending all that money building or buying off-road vehicles and they won’t spend the $350 on a winch!

    • @HVTMuddvain
      @HVTMuddvain 9 месяцев назад +9

      Sooooo freakin true if your gonna offroad atv utv jeep truck whatever you should have a winch. Breakdowns are a whole other story but getting outta sinple mud spots like these is just foolish without a winch. Finally got mine on my 22 Ram Cummins last month for Christmas but i wont be wheeling intentionally in a 70k truck but rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

      Yeah, some of us might have a "winch fetishist". I install a winch on every thing that has 4 WD and recovery gear. One of my 4wheelers is on it's second or third winch. First one gave up after much use a little north of your home area Brunswick GA. I definitely enjoy watching you show how a smaller vehicle and rigging can recover larger vehicles easy. A little Polaris 4wheeler has pulled out a Toyota pickup with proper rigging and small winch. 😮

    The front passenger tire was bound up on a log or something in there. When he pulled it back the popping noise was the tire coming off the bead.

    For the moaners about the trees, 99% of them will spring back up anyway, if they are so bothered like & subscribe & share then you can buy a HeliJeep and fly in and out.

      FL differant than MOAB where every tree is precios if it is alive.. Florida trees and brush grow so fast that trails disappear in 1-2 years. 5 years no traffice it's gone.

    them there tree huggers must live out west in the desert. they definitely don't live here in the south.
    here in Louisiana we probably have more trees than Florida and we have so many that a lot of them die off for the lack of getting sunlight because of trees blocking their chance of getting sunlight.

    • @matt.mckinzie
      @matt.mckinzie  9 месяцев назад +1

      Here in Florida they catch the woods on fire and let them regrow because the undergrowth grows to fast and thick

    What do you do if someone been trespassing - but not caught- and gotten stuck?
    Do you pass the signs and hope to get lucky?
    Try to track down the land owner?
    Put in a courtesy call to the Police/Sheriff/Game Wardens before continuing?
    I mean, not that you're intentionally doing damage. But it seems like someone could easily sue you for flattening some shrubs and causing some ruts. And even if you're acting on the behalf of someone else, you would be trespassing as well.

    • @beekydogg
      @beekydogg 2 месяца назад

      In other videos he contacts local authorities to check permissions. A lot of times the police will notify the land owners of what needs to happen. Other times he’s had to drive over an hour to re route. Depends.
