This was recorded in the lounge of the family home on a hand held microphone I believe during Covid Lockdown. It’s a masterpiece of vocal virtuosity by a young teenager with a voice for the ages. Lucy treats this song with the greatest respect. She doesn’t over sing it and she captures perfectly the emotional content and warmth. As the song reaches its climax, Lucy gathers herself and lets loose the perfect finale. Gentle but powerful and beautiful.
