Honestly Hawaii and the Philippines are so different you can’t compare. It comes down to what are you looking for? Alona beach as a beach is average but the Henann hotel on it is fantastic and Pangloa Island is laid back and very relaxing and the food and drinks are super cheap. No place in Hawaii can you sit on the beach and have some bring you $2 beers and food But if you are looking to check waves yeah Hawaii is the spot
