How long the muscles are going back to fully functional ? 🤔

It takes six to eight weeks for the tendon to heal to the bone, three months to form a relatively strong attachment to the bone, and about six to nine months before the tendon is completely healed to the bone.
Complete recovery time varies by size of the tear.
Patients can often return to most activities after about 12 weeks after surgery, but participation in vigorous sports may be restricted for four to six months. The goal is to achieve full range of motion and full strength.

    Can it heal without surgery?

Small to medium-sized rotator cuff tears often heal without surgical intervention when conservative treatments are utilized. While surgery is not always necessary, early treatment for rotator cuff tears is essential. If you delay, the torn tendon may start to retract or pull back toward the other end, which can make healing and even a surgical repair more difficult and less successful.

If the tendons are cut short to make them even, then how are they able to be pulled back down with the anchors? Are they stretchable? Will it cause more pain from the stretching?

Tendons are in a constant state of flexion or contraction. They help our muscles and bones to move as we need them to.
