I have been to Ellis Island for the steak and eggs breakfast and then we went back the next day for their barbecue - getting coupons from the kiosk for 5.00 off each!!! I have never stayed at Planet Hollywood, thanks for showing us the room set up. Have a great time.

Had a feeling you would be there on the 1st. 🤣 We went last year from Jan 1 thru 5th. Thought it would be calmer but it was so busy. This year with Covid still looks really busy.
All day Dim Sum looks good to me. And yes, I too enjoy warm big buns. The egg tarts look yummy along with the adult root beer float at Village Pub and Cafe at Ellis Island.
Cannot wait to go back to Las Vegas.

I love when you two go to Vegas with it being my favorite vacation spot and I look forward to seeing some place new to try. With that being said, you two will most likely return to Vegas before I get there next so I have a request for you to try a restaurant called Squeeze In. I heard that they have awesome breakfasts and I always look forward to your restaurant reviews. They are located on Eastern Ave and serve only breakfasts and lunch. I already have it on my itinerary to go there however I would enjoy seeing your review of the place first.

I was looking for you guys on Fremont Street on NEW YEARS DAY. I stayed at 4QUEENS had a wonderful time. Try the food at Magnolia inside 4 queens really good food at good price
Also went to Peppermill on the strip very good food hugh portions. Thanks for sharing

Another great fun walk down eating lane in Las Vegas. I do like Dim Sum A LOT!!! I eats me the chicken feet and the pork and I like the steamed meatballs and the tofu wraped by steamed not fried rolls with veggies or meat. Those tofu skins are a yummy in my tummy. Always like IN and OUT. Down at Warf in SF with only take out. Used to have tables to sit at but now removed. The Ellis Cafe offering were very very appealing. I would enjoy the prime rib muchly. You mentioned not driving but using ride share. Long wait?
Thanks Jerome! Wait times for Uber or Lyft were very long, and sometimes unavailable. We ended up walking back to Planet Hollywood from Ellis Island, maybe 15 minutes.

Hi guys! Kicking off the New Year right I see! I was there this weekend too. We had NYE dinner at the Silverado Steakhouse at Southpoint and our New Year’s Day dinner at the Sunset Station Oyster Bar. We tried a new local Korean BBQ joint in Henderson, Mr. Kim’s BBQ. So excited for your 2021 content!

Thanks for posting cheap eats vid! I like going to LV in summer at Suncoast mid week great rates, nice pool, and close to Red Rock area where i love to hike! Ate at Sushi Bomb close by pretty good cheap eats!

if you're going to go to pieology you really need to go to the one in the underground at the MGM. The one on flamingo is not as good at all... it seems that some of them are corporate owned and some of them are not, evidently that makes a big difference !! Also what does mod mean , make on demand ???
Steak special at Ellis Island is always solid. The green beans are always delicious too. Buttery, garlicky and always crisp and perfectly cooked. I always ask for garlic butter to dip my steak in too. $10 can't be beat. It used to come with the 22 ounce beer or root beer.

Happy New Year! My family was in Vegas too. For "cheap" pizza, we head to Secret Pizza in Cosmopolitan for the White pizza every time. On New Year's day we had fantastic AYCE kbbq just off the Strip at Arirang. I would've been stoked to run into you two in Vegas. It was definitely more crowded than this past summer, but not nearly as hectic as previous NYE

I love dim sum. When I worked in San Jose, my friend and I would go often. Now, I live in an area with no dim sum places. I love shu mai.
I love the Village Pub at Ellis Island, everything I've eaten at Ellis Island is great.

The first time I tried Honolulu Cookie Co. was in Waikiki at the Hawaiian Hilton Village shops. I was walking by and was offered a sample and I was hooked! They did free shipping so I didn’t have to carry a lot, so I ordered so much. The BEST shortbread cookies ever! 👍🏻

Wow, everything looks so ono! I’ve never heard of Ellis Island Hotel but will try their cafe out one day. On a future trip, you two should try Sweets Raku on Spring Mountain. Very trendy desserts. And maybe Hash House A Go Go 🤤
We also stayed at Planet Hollywood this weekend and ate at Ellis Island’s Cafe! It’s a true cheap eats gem!! So sad that we didn’t run into you two! Thanks for all the cheap eat recs! Can’t wait to try Yum Cha :)

ABC was also a popular early 90s hip hop group. They were a two hit wonder with 'Iesha' and 'Playground'. I had their cassette.
Yep. They also have one on the strip. On the same side as MGM, I think just before Planet Hollywood?? And one downtown. Best prices in Vegas!! Love ABC stores!

Last time we visited, there were two ABC stores in the Miracle Mile shops. One is close to the strip, the other is not far from the parking garage entrance.
