See katoosha2006 channel for a better idea of what happened. Its sad that police get away with this. Did they think he was christopher dorner? Still would have been murder. Tpd need to put down their guns and the joystick, steroids, the weights. Pick up a book. Learn patience, compassion...anything but more lies.
Asa thought he saw me, his mom carrying his son out to my truck and putting him in the carseat Christmas night. I was there Christmas night and put things on the floor and on the carseat in my crewcab directly behind the drivers seat, but it was not the boy. Asa carried nothing flammable into the apartment, only a knife to cut himself with, which he did. The fire to the sofa was an impulse act by a miswired, raging teenager, blind drunk thanks to some friends, and feeling that he had no family left. He was dealing with mental pain and we believe the huge amount of alcohol was the trigger for his mental fracturing. He went to a friend's home after the apartment fire. There he was told the boy was inside. He said no, he saw me, Asa's mom, carrying him out. Only when he called me after that did he know for sure that Jared was inside. He only wanted to talk to his girlfriend. The asshole cop snatched my phone away from me, even though I had it on speakerphone, just to stupidly ask Asa "Where Are you?", as if Asa wanted to be found. Asa asked "Is this a pig?" So a drunk, mentally anguished teenager said he would start shooting pigs if he couldn't talk to the girl. The stupid cop handed me back the phone and took off running to the others. I knew that they would hunt him down and kill him. Within 30 minutes, I heard on a loud police radio "He saw us towing his car." If they wanted to catch him they could have waited at the car. They wanted to kill him to hide how they ignored the whole disintigrating of Asa, calling it my problem, and saying the girlfriend is the problem, "cause she keeps letting him back." Our only relief is knowing that he died instantly, shot in the back of the head while running, not grabbed by them and beaten to death like Kelly Thomas. Asa had so much good in him and so much potential. He had things "going on" in his head, as he told his girlfriend, that were tormenting him. But he was afraid to try medication, or admit that he was "mental."

You're his mom, and I'm the pope.
