You can use less potent retinol instead . My dermatologist always recommended using less potent ingredients so that I can introduce other ingredients also in my skin care routine. I’m using retinol since years along with vit c , peels once a week and transaxemic acid combinations. With this you can get multiple benefits.
Can you be a little more specific as to how long does purging takes place and when to change to a stronger percentage ? And you said we shouldn't use other active ingredients, does that mean even in AM routine we should not use them ? And also do a video on how to apply. I wanna give you a little TMI before I get to my question, I had visited 2 dermats long back to check small white pimples I faced near my eye area specifically, I got to know that that those are called milia and they said they will have to pick them out with a needle and I was very scared about it also the treatment was costly so didn't really opt for it & my Gynaecologist gave me this cream, initially I didn't know about it , the area where my milia was got worn out but besides it became darker and i was scared therefore I left using it. Now i am facing a similar problem of getting it all over my eye area, can start using this cream again? Also should I be using it even if I get normal acnes and all?

Hi I too have Milia, but I got it pricked and it didn’t leave any mark. I did it in Bangalore and my dermat just used a needle and did it very well. It is really safe and they will give a cream to use for 3 days and after that you are good to go. Face looks really clear.
For milia, trust me with my words. At the end of your skin care routine, just take a very small drop of glycerin (you can get a bottle of it for Rs.30) and put it on the affected area. You have to rub a little but not completely. You'll see the difference within 2-3 weeks. I've tried it myself and im very confident over the face that is works for sure! Hope this helps ❤️❤️

No late at all... Just moisturizer then retinol then you can moisturizer with light handed... start with once a week. Twice a week . And gradually increase if you are comfortable.. once a week in month.. Dont mix with moisturizer.. coz chances are you will rub on the areas like edges of nose and eyes and lips
You need more than topical treatment . Consult a dermatologist because if you have inflammatory acne n other forms of acne then you will need other medications . Retinol or tretinoin is not a treatment for every type of acne .

I can see considerable change in skin texture but but but my skin has become soo soo soo hard, looks like I've got a tan. Can you please tell me why and wat is the reason behind it? Hii you can use azalic acid as it does not harm that much your skin than a retinol do I seem that it only making dry your skin only there is no purging at all As azalic acid is beneficial for acne and acne marks and also for fine line if you use azalic acid then after 2 to3 month you start seeing difference spf is must Can be used am and pm on washed dry skin or if your skin dry then add mosturiser first then Apply azalic acid

I have just turned 23 recently and i wanted to start using tretinoin but i had already used Adapalene and Benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment for my acne issues after my dr suggested me plus i had also taken some pills for about 6 months to cure my acne 1.5 years back byt i dnt remember the name of the med. And i used to get alot of pustules and during that 6 months course of med also suffered from purging phase. I just wanted to ask any tips for my oily acne prone skin. Now i dnt get much acne but around my periods i too get 2/4 of them. So plz suggest me and give some tips should i use or not?
Better use Tretinoin with 0.02%. With regular spf I used have same problem but now I'm acne free I see rarely 2 3 pimples that's normal!! I hope it this will help. But you definitely try Tretinoin!!

Purging can last for 6 months 1.5 - 2 months is common in most people. Yess you can use other acid in the morning routine , If your skin can tolerate.

No late at all... Just moisturizer then retinol then you can moisturizer with light handed... start with once a week. Twice a week . And gradually increase if you are comfortable.. once a week in month.. Dont mix with moisturizer.. coz chances are you will rub on the areas like edges of nose and eyes and lips
You need more than topical treatment . Consult a dermatologist because if you have inflammatory acne n other forms of acne then you will need other medications . Retinol or tretinoin is not a treatment for every type of acne .

Hii you can use azalic acid as it does not harm that much your skin than a retinol do I seem that it only making dry your skin only there is no purging at all
As azalic acid is beneficial for acne and acne marks and also for fine line if you use azalic acid then after 2 to3 month you start seeing difference spf is must
Can be used am and pm on washed dry skin or if your skin dry then add mosturiser first then Apply azalic acid

I have just turned 23 recently and i wanted to start using tretinoin but i had already used Adapalene and Benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment for my acne issues after my dr suggested me plus i had also taken some pills for about 6 months to cure my acne 1.5 years back byt i dnt remember the name of the med. And i used to get alot of pustules and during that 6 months course of med also suffered from purging phase. I just wanted to ask any tips for my oily acne prone skin. Now i dnt get much acne but around my periods i too get 2/4 of them. So plz suggest me and give some tips should i use or not?
Use benzoyl peroxide for rest of yr . . It will purge starting only but use sun screen
Better use Tretinoin with 0.02%.
With regular spf
I used have same problem but now I'm acne free I see rarely 2 3 pimples that's normal!!
