He *IS* the secondary Rider, although regarding his overall importance to the plot, he definitely lost out to Chalice. Probably even screentime too (idk exactly about this one but it feels like it).
I just love that moment when a riders or rangers helmet gets busted in battle and shows the man behind it. It has a nice dramatic effect that's sets the tone for a scene.
Burning Divide is probably among my Top 5 favorite Rider Kicks/Finishers. The way Garren shifts from one person to two people symmetrically kicking in unison is so graceful, like the gears on a clock or a Windows Media Player animation.
This series had me throwing my blank pokemon cards at random mammals, hoping it would spin & stick but we live in a reality where physics and logics are applied 😭
Yo just imagine throwing a energy card, then you receive signature moves of that pokemon. For example, if it's a dragon, I can throw a unlisted fire energy to receive Charizard's Signature, Flamethrower, which supplements every attack with fire(or make his rider kick burning hot, continuously burning the enemy while the kick tries to break through the opponents body) Imagine they made Ash into a Kamen Rider.
I never watched Blade, and my only media consumption was an old ps1fighting game but it stands to this day that Garren's version is one of the most unique and coolest Rider Kick ever

@@Anomaleph Leangle can overpower Garren (in terms of elemental advantage) but he's inexperienced and always troubled. What makes him troublesome to engage is his Remote card, which he can use to release sealed cards or turn them against his enemies.
@@fajarpratama2478 oh It's been a year since i heard about this again. Garren becomes synced again after finding out Isaka ( Jack of Diamonds) killed his girlfriend and later resolved to seal the latter.
One disappointing thing is that we didn't get a chance to see many riders final form even in the movie there is a possibility, but it doesn't happen. Imagine if all rider in blade posses jack and king form and also in other series like Kabuto in which every rider can use hyper zector, It would be awesome!
They did something to that effect in S.I.C. Hero Saga. Garren ended up with a stable King Form, where the gun-version King Rouzer still had the open tray to store the cards, since the Fusion Co-efficiency wasn't affected by King Form. They even showed a Jack Form for Leangle, with large gauntlets and elephant tusk shoulder pads, and the blade extension was placed at the butt of the staff(where the cards were roused).
@@LokkerG I do hope Leangle gets to show of his King form too. Given how we could have gotten it in the show if things went differently, given how he(while under Spider Undead's control I think?) tried to do it only for it to fail and backfire on the Undead.
I realized that he's the only Blade Rider who has 2 named combos that require three cards and 1 named combo that requires two cards, while everyone else only has 1 three-card combo and 2 two-card combos.
I think it’s cool that sic gave us a king form for him, but I think it deviates too much from the suit aesthetic. Since the king of diamonds has double swords then he should have twin guns.
Garren used a kick attack in his Jack Form against Mutsuki too, around Ep 41 i guess... he used 'drop' and 'fire' probably, and it was a tie with Leangle
IMO it looks cooler than Blade's king form. His pistol turns into a rifle. Not a fan of the bug covering for the wings at the back tho. Since everyone else has a king form makes me wonder ehat Leangle would've looked like.

I just learned recently that the guy who played Garren would later play the Libra Zodiarts. He went from stag beetle to longhorn beetle.
So in a way he became the third Joker Undead.
