Ken Block’s All-GoPro Cossie V2 Raw Onboard Footage: Irish Tarmac Rally Madness, Stage 13: Knockalla
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 30 июн 2019
- Enjoy this raw, uncut onboard footage from Stage 13 of the Donegal Rally: Knockalla. One of the most famous stages of the rally itself. Ken Block and Alex Gelsomino tackle the tarmac stage starting with surreal ocean views, mixed in with wildly narrow sections and a jump or two in there. Enjoy.

Quite possibly the most dangerous underrated sport in the world. Props to all Rally car drivers.
not underrated at all, just under-populated
Its not that dangerous think of the isle of man tt its under rated
"WRC is for boys, group C was for men"
Have you seen isle of man tt???
That is on another level
Rally is dangerous but is a car with 16 points roll cage. Max out maybe 130 mph...still scarry fast on the roads and conditions they race in. But isle of man can touch 190-200mph+ on motorcycle w/o roll cage and someone always died each year....Yeah isle of man is the most bat shit insane things I can think of in form of racing.
Rest easy Ken. I never knew a thing about Rallying until a friend sent me this video and since then I've been enthused by this sport, RIP to an all time great and legend.

He was NOT the best at it, or even in the ballpark.
@@shakes.dontknowwhatyergettinwell he was easily one of the most gifted drifters ever. So there’s that. Don’t talk shit about a dead man’s legacy
Don’t confuse sentiment with fact. Ken Block was not one of the best rally drivers ever. Ken Block WAS one of the most talented guys you would ever see when hooning about. His car control and entertainment factor was off the charts, probably the best person to ever sell his talent as pure visual entertainment. Sadly, though, he was not actually the best rally driver, just a fantastic driver who could put on a great display. Rally driving at the absolute pinnacle looks just like the driving in the video, but there is 1% more added that shaves a second or two off the time, something that you and I, and other mere mortals like you and I, are unable to discern let alone replicate. RIP Ken Block, one of the most ENTERTAINING drivers we have ever seen. Not the best rally driver though, .. far from it.
Not enough people appreciate how stable the footage is
it appears the camera or maybe the lense is mounted on some tricky suspension that stabilises the picture like a gyroscopic setup or something
Thanks computer technology for doing what you do.
I think it's pretty normal for people to not thank objects
Maybe you are new to the world of action sport cameras
There are many AI-based programs for video stabilization, it's not even that inaccessible to normal people, hell, even your phone probably has a level of stablization and even youtube itself has an AI to help with shaky cameras.
Shhh looks like a videogame
So talented, hard to believe it.. rest in paradise ken, the industry misses you incredibly. Heart breaks for his family. 💙🕊 #43

Rally drivers go through the stage once before their actual attempt so they can make the pace notes. But yeah, rally drivers are insanely good at their job.
@@user-wl1yt4mu7t I see but yes 100%, mad skills!
We'll yeah it's a terrifyingly dangerous sport and the driver can not possibly remember all the turns, distances, topology and road conditions. That's why they have a co-driver, otherwise they'd have to go about half the speed to safely complete the stage.
How is it even possible to drive so fast and understand all of that fast "Code language" rapping at the same time!

That's the result of training, I bet.
