If there is no I how can you discover that there is no I? We all know that there is no I but we need to use it to communicate and be a human.....

" Suffering exists, but no one who suffers.
Deeds exist, but no doers are found.
A path there is, but no one who follows it.
And nirvana there is, but no one who attains it. "

it's only the "I" that thinks it is necessary. it really is not. all separation is only an appearance. the goal is not to recognize or experience oneness but identify with it.

When we say, “I have made a discovery,” we are playing a game. Why does this statement exist? It is only an addition to the résumé of “I”.
There is no “I” to make this discovery. Either the knowledge exists or it does not.
      J. Krishnamurti spoke of “the parallel movement of thought.’’ This is part of the mind trying to inspect and comment on everything it does. In fact it is the mind neurotically repeating and contradicting itself. This is both redundant and dysfunctional. It is like hiring a thief to be a policeman and catch himself, or a judge putting himself on trial. Instead of creating lawful order, this creates chaos.
The answer cannot be inspecting the inspector, or criticizing the critic. This is a person trying to watch their thoughts but discovering they can only think over and over, “Now I am thinking about thinking.” This is useless, until we become truly impressed by its uselessness.

@@ralphhenderson5276 correct. that makes the self -perpetuated illusion of seeking enlightenment while everyone is already that anyway
also these "EGO" thing there is a natural EGO that functions well
but many people misunderstand this words and trying to wipe out their EGO
and there are layers of paradox which appears as if it contradicts one another 1.dualistic to 2.absolute to 3.coming back to the world
there are many sincere people who think they attained enlightenment and spread the confusing knowledge
i want to see the zen sector named as "STFU and just SIT"
and just do that only without preaching anything
nowdays the words "enlightenment" , Buddha , Zen became disgusting
it became something that which is not in peoples fantasy
the only person i found that illustrate the point so well while using the words is Alan Watts
i don;t know how he does that lol
      but he's good as heck

There is only experiences that arises and cease. If you hold on to the experience you create I. Look up and meditate on The Dependent origination you see.
