I think you may be almost single-handedly responsible for bringing me back from a several month long slump of almost never cooking! It’s partly because every single dish you share sounds unbelievably delicious, but it’s also partly because your creations exist in a perfect zone, where they’re often actual recipes I can follow, so I don’t have to bring too much nonexistent brain function/overtaxed creativity, but they’re also extremely forgiving, so I don’t have to fret too much about last minute substitutions or “oops I thought I had that ingredient” panics. I also very much appreciate the veggie-forward character of your recipes, ‘cause, you know, VEGETABLES ARE SUPER YUMMY 😄
These look great. You're right. No reason not to create cozy meals even when temps warm. I won't choose until I try them. I'm making your Miso gravy as I type, (for leftover chicken) so I know these recipes will be delicious too. l
Ohh delish!! All 3 meals speak to me but my ears perked up when you mention the Araxi Restaurant & Oyster Bar, we went there in Dec 2019 and it was definitely one of the best meals and services ever, we went back for lunch the next day haha. My bf was sweet enough to get me one of their cookbooks too :D their mushroom risotto was bomb. I miss the Whistler Village, such a charming place. I still remember how sweet Cow's Ice cream shop smelled, think I got a tee shirt there, gotta go look for it.
Just to say… Living in NYC and drowning in a sea of chefluencers doing crudos and reductions using quasi esoteric produce items the only thing that motivates me to go to the grocery store and cook is the candidness and accessibility of these vids 🫰
I can't count how many times I'd put on one of Paula's cooking videos, then pause half way through to run to the store and get the ingredients, then watch it a few times and make the dish :P
Hey all! Which one is your fave? (If I had to pick one I'd choose the risotto!)
same
Yep, risotto!
Pasta for me! Love your channel!
Love the pasta shape you used but risotto can't be beat, mmm!

🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Everything looks delicious! I think I’d start with the spring veggie stroganoff since I’ve never tried a leek.
You hooked me in even before you said ‘vegan sour cream’ ! 😊👍
Hahah that’s great to hear!
tumeric makes eggs look really pretty too. i am colorblind, but to me it makes the yellow color pop
It doesn’t do well with my new white countertop though. Learned that the hard way! 😬
@@HowToMakeDinner oh no! lol 😱 that gives me a panic attack just thinking about it lol
@@Taricus I think I got rid of it… maybe 99% of it at least. Good ol’ magic eraser!
The chili is my favorite here 😊

Labne(h) is a nice option to use.

Okay...so you are either the same one on the simple living Alaska channel or a twin? Both good channels. Enjoy the tips.
New Kitchen?
Yes indeed!
@@HowToMakeDinner Nice! I'm excited to try the third recipe. Thanks for making these videos. You're awesome at it.

Ahh yes that kind of cooking never interested me much either!
