    This was first time flying into Havana and first time even entering Cuban Airspace since I left the airlines. All done single pilot with some very excited passengers in the back. Showing the world how fun Part 91 can be. Enjoy! Like, Comment and Subscribe.

    I am a new subscriber with most of my flight time in C310s but have become interested in the C414. Watching this and another of your videos I want to compliment you on your landings. From what I can see via the computer they are very smooth. Your landing gear must love you. Nice flying and will start looking at more of your videos. Thank you.

    Great flying!
    I'm a sim pilot and just recenly started flying c414, i noticed your mixture levers not equally balanced between the props before you pushed for full rich for landing, is there a reason for that ?
    Also you landed without condition levers fully forward, is this procesure for this plane.
    I get conflicting instructions on the sim so looking for real life knowledge.
    Thanks

    Should the prop levers not have been fully forward for landing? A go around would have been interesting....... 🤔

    • @ssaviator
      @ssaviator  3 месяца назад

      They would go forward prior to a go around. This is just technique to keep the Cabin quiet. The increase in RPM and Decibels is unnecessary imho when the runway is made and landing assured. But once again this is just technique. You’ll see alot of seasoned turboprop guys do the same thing

    This is my favourite twin engine piston, is it hard to fly?

  • @CameronMartin26
    @CameronMartin26 2 года назад +1

    Quick question, why props full forward AFTER landing? I’ve never flown a 414 so I’m genuinely curious. I was taught props full forward on take off and landing but in a different aircrafts?

    • @ssaviator
      @ssaviator  2 года назад +1

      Hey Cam,
      Its just technique I’ve used throughout the years. Clear and a million day like that, with landing assured, theres no real reason, in my opinion, to move the props from cruise position to takeoff as the checklist suggests. Its 100% for passenger comfort, as It gets louder instantly when props go forward. You’re still get about 70%ish power incase of a go-around
