We had my cousins 95 Massey at our place & that thing was so cold blooded . It would only get up to the green when hooked to the chisel plows. In the winter one person rode the hood to spray ether , one person drove it, and one person to pull it, to get it started. We had the rad covered and the sides. Don’t worry about the smoke as they do all the time. Keep it at least half throttle when sitting. Good luck. They are bulletproof

I binged watched all of your videos one day and the compilation part didn't really bother me any. You definitely just made me want a g705-8 and even the massey counterpart. Very nice video, looking forward to more!

We pulled an 11ft Lindsay spring shank plow behind our 1970 G950.
Yours is playing with the blue chisel

Can't beat the sound of a Case or M-M diesel engine with the Lanova style injection system ❤

Thanks for sharing that old girl, she's a real nice tractor even with what you had to fix. I'm a ford guy to but love any of the big old 6 cylinder tractors that sound sweet. Our neighbor up here in Canada has an older Minnie with this type motor he antique pulls with. I know it's tuned with way newer parts as he told me once. He was at the local threshermans day running the baker fan a few years ago. This real old guy was watching and said when he finished "thats far from stock parts and power". He B'sed him some and the old guy called him out by saying. "Son I worked in the dealers when this was new so you'd think I'd know how it runs a baker fan !". He also went on to tell him what all the update parts were that he'd used from newer tractors to get there, they apparently played the more power game in the dealers in later years with farm tractors as well . Take care.

I will do that this spring when it goes to “work” for a few hours, also want to pull it at our local tractor show but they require wheelie bars ☹️

In later years larger tractors requiring more fuel like this one used inline pumps. This rotary pump is maxed out in this application.

Back in late 60s my dad farmed with a guy that had a G707 propane. I put a few hours on it, that was a big tractor then.

Both the 425 & 504 MM’s are ether pigs. Have a full can handy. Once they r running they pull like a tank

We had a M670 Super on the farm I grew up on. Awesome tractor. From spring to fall that tractor was used everyday. Yes it usually needed a little snort of ether in the morning.

My goodness the length of that hood! :24:52. Reminds me of my David brown 885 we use. Just about 6ft 2" before the operators platform. Eitherway the love for these is real. Very cool, a friend down the road has one and i need to vist his collection!.Thanks for sharing

Yep, we call it the brick, the set back front axle looks goofy but sure helps turning at the end of the row.

when old diesel tractors set U have open throttle 2 start them 2 U done the best thing 2 have the injectors rebuilt 3 after it was running U should've bleed the fuel system 4 U have 2 take a wrench and Crack the injectors fittings a bit loose 2 see if there is any air in the fuel system also at the injector pump there should be only diesel fuel no air bubbles 5 when ever U pull a injector pump off a diesel engine it has 2 go back the same and U can't turn it or the timing will be off some 2 dots or a dot and a line the timing marks can be either way then degrees 6 the energy cells in diesel engines go back 2 the 194OS and they should be cleaned of carbon that's a loss of horse power the tractor runs alot better than what it U have 2 remember U might have 2 do a bit of work 2 them get them running better also alot of old tractors haven't had any work done 2 them since they left 👈😊 the factor brand new the tractor runs good now and doesn't smoke like it use 2 😊😊 OMG 8 17 2O23

Governor ring is neoprene, about 2 inches in diameter, half inch wide quarter inch thick. Has 6 holes in it, 3 attatch to weight bracket 3 attach to advance, not good when broken!!
