Hello 👋 we have medieval drainage ditches around the village that are in the most part dry but since last March they have been full and bubbling away a bit unnerving when they flood, as seen in a video around November time when the cottage had its own moat , the trees are swishing away as well so I run the risk of snoozing every time I step out in the garden x

@@Thetudorcottagediaries Yes that will be it. I remember the flooding that you had. It's still a lousy summer down here. We had one day where the sun shone and the breeze dropped away but one day does not a summer make!
