Sir, I'm 67 yrs. old and it fills my heart to see " old school " work ethics I was raised on from my grandfather that was born in 1903. He passed his experiences and way of life he went through , WW1, The Great Depression, WW2, Korea, and so on.
Porter Dude here. Hey, those doors shut pretty well, at least from this perspective. That makes me think that the cab is pretty straight and strong. I kept waiting for you to take the cab assembly out and wash it as well. Get a lot of extra junk out of the way, ey. Another time for that one. Having a plasma cutter, etc sure makes the jobs easier. You got it going on, dude. It’s good to have help every once in a while. It seems to be coming together pretty well. I’m liking it more and more. 🤩😎
I have a 46 chev maple leaf 3 ton I want to sit on a dually chasis. Really appreciate you taking the extra time to film and detail your build process, and share it. Also appreciate being able to watch a build not laced with profanity. Thanks
I actually put a international 1600 dump on a Dodge 3500 cummins and it was quite the truck when I finished it after 2 years but nothing lined up it all had to be hand custom made I will not attempt a Large thrill challenge like this again I started to second guess my knowledge! You Sir are A Genius when it comes to this your just cruising right through the rough and thinking part Keep the video coming you are Definitely Great at Customs and over thinking the obstacles ! Thank you!
What a great concept this is! Since the AC compressor is belt driven and there appears to be plenty of room up there you could fabricate new brackets and relocate it above the level of the rocker covers along with the alternator. That would provide an additional advantage of raising those accessories further from the ground and debris thrown up from it as well as above the level of any water you are probably going to take the vehicle through and making more room for an intercooler plus they should also be easier to service!
Hey buddy Love your Builds The truck is a Big Truck I Love it. Everything else has been stock or chopped so this will be Kool leave it tall like that. ITS SUPER KOOL.
Excited about the build. glad you are the mastermind, I was still thinking about how to do something and you was miles ahead of me with this Great project in the making If I was helping I would be satisfied being the helper, would not want to have to figure out how this is going to be done. Brent you are the master builder.
Good job brent the foundational work has been done, you think that's a lot of welding try being a welder fitter when all you do is weld all day long. until you gain experience than you get a break from welding and you learn to do welder fitter work. I was a welder fitter for 25 years miss the trade. so I watch, guys like you do work, to remind myself what I use to love to do .
not sure how much i like the fast frwd,i know this is the in thing these days.Everything fast. But i find myself impatient watching other vids that don't have this.hmmm...Great Job on that Beast Love the Tallness that's what makes it so cool i say.
Definitely going to be one of a kind build!! I know this is a hard job but you make it look easy. Can’t wait to see it come together. Nice work Brent!!👍
loving the process, your problem solving skills are enviable... and I have to say that plasma cutter is such an amazing tool. looking forward to the rest of the build !!
I really like your content, but the best part of your videos is the music when you speed up the video. So many other channels I have to mute out the trash that passes for music. This is a great truck project, with 3 eras of trucks melded together.
There is a real upward progression on these videos now vs. the very early ones. I enjoy watching them now. Keep it up. Btw, not every truck and car have to be lowriders. That one is a great height. You won't be scraping going into parking lots...
Wow you sure are making progress on this build already! I like the way you fabbed up the mounts - I think they will be plenty strong enough, and once you extend the cab, the rear mounts will be the ones doing most of "the work." Take care Brent - great episode as always!
Hey Brent that was a great truck video and with you figuring the geometry of things out she's coming along very nicely. But I just wanted to let you know that I was so wrapped up in watching this video said it could have been 15 or 20 or 30 minutes longer and I would have been all in. Anyway, keep up the good work and I'll be watching👍
Around 11:30 I was starting to "want " to close the gap between the grill and front frame rails. Such a relieve to see you actually did lol. Made the wheel just fall into place so nice.
Hope you didn't make the fuel plate a "0" like I did, best then to get headstuds and o-ring the head, lol. A restrictor in the waste gate line also gives nice results :) Good call on the killer dowlpin, seen a few blown up cause of it.
Just amazing Brent. You're just an absolute genius Mate. Watch every episode & love every minute too. Billy J....... Beaudesert, Queensland, Australia...
I really think this truck is very damn cool! Cant go wrong with a Cummins with a p-pump! I think it would be cool to use the step tanks! You could put some polished expanded metal or diamond plate in the top flat areas to add some shinny in the right places. It kinda reminds me of an old school version of the new F650’s or 6500’s they have out now. Not trying to tell you what to do, just throwing up some of my ideas. Your project and it’s cool just how you want it. Keep it up!
Hi,always love your builds ,never complicated, but stylish . you just go with the flow.gone be cool with the sleepers extention in the style of the international cab, keep them vids coming
Afternoon Brent, what a project you have going on here, I love your burnout table, every fab guy needs one of those...mounts look great!! I also like how you set goals every time you get out in the shop...do your best to achieve them..
She will make a loverly Franken-bride on that Dodge chassis, and you will love the 12 valve Cummins; although w/498K!!?? on the clock, the front suspension and steering will need some love. My low mile 1st Gen. (150k) already has some wear in those parts from carrying a heavy camper. (Will pencil you in for the Million Mile Club..)
Should be good with the front end as it's a 3rd gen I swapped a while back with beefed up steering and everything rebuild so she should be good to go haha
I’d recommend improving the governor springs too. It will really help a lot with drivability. Just my $.02. This is a really awesome project. You do some pretty incredible work.
There are some pretty trick high mount A/C brackets out there that also relocate the alternator . With your plasma cutter I have no doubt you could make your own and relocate the A/C.
@@HalfassKustoms I posted a comment before watching your entire video. I’m glad you found a solution. Thank you for sharing this amazing project with us. I’m excited to see it complete.
It would be really cool to see it in a crew cab or even a old school day cab big rig sleeper ! To take up that space! Keep up the good work looks sweet!

I also admire your editing skills, your way makes and keeps your story going and away from boring.

I know Im kinda randomly asking but do anyone know a good website to watch new movies online ?
I don’t know about you, but I’m excited for this project and it isn’t even mine!
Yeah so far she's going together pretty good.

That’s quite a project. Pretty cool idea though.👍
Love this project. Be sure to water it with the hose once in a while to keep the moss thriving.

Awesome video Brent. Thanks for sharing your skills with us.
You got a place to work and a passion for the work and a project to work on. What more could a guy ask for...
This is a great project for watching you figure out things that can't be done without a great knowledge of how things work!
Honestly This is the best on RUclips ! I am amazed even more every time I watch . Thank you for sharing.
Came across episode 1 of this build. Instant SUB!! Mad skills bro
I'm really loving this truck. This will make a great shop truck...for my shop,,,that I don't have, but it would be a great one.Regards, Solomon
Might fit the tanks back on for the steps. If it turns out that tall ? Cooool!!!

I'm not much on big behemoth trucks but I just like to watch you go about it...what can I say I'm a big fan of fabrication work.

we made our plate like a J so at cruise it's not over fueling. haha I think 0 is like pulling the plate out.
Tou should call this truck "Proud Mary," 'cause big wheels keep on turnin'...
You should reuse the original fuel tanks, put them back on the sides of a truck and make them into storage lockers/steps.
I like that idea :)
I like that to
KEEP PROJECT ROLLING VERY AWESOME TRUCK WHEN DOME VERY TALENTED DOING YOUR AUTO WORK ,.
