That base clearing double down left field line was awesome. I became a fan of this guy forever now and hope he continues the hot streak into the season.

In one of his few starts... he hit a home run, threw a runner out at third base and stole home --- all in one game. He is the only player in baseball history to do all three in one game. He never started another game for St. Louis. They traded him in the offseason. The Cardinals have regretted it dearly ever since.
The Mexican people said that Arozarena, who was playing a big game, was a hero. But when a man dropped his helmet and yelled at the end of the game, everyone in the stadium recognized that he was a "real hero".🦄

I've always found baseball boring af. But seeing a couple viral highlights from him I saw on social media made me check out more of him, and eventually the remaining Mexico games. Now I definitely won't be watching the MLB, but I can appreciate it now. And I definitely will look forward to more Mexico games whenever they play again.
He was most definitely the MVP of the most exciting and competitive WBC to date.
