Ireland has such a great song tradition to be proud of. There is a sense of wistful resignation and melancholia about this sound/performance. What a clean, honest, unpretentious delivery, in the finest story telling tradition. This is deserving many, many views. And course, hats off for Brendan Graham who apparently is behind the melody and lyrics of this touching song...made even more effective by being based on real events.

History teachers need choral culture to better purvey t richness of peoples. SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone/ Bass) education should be part of their arsenal to harmoniously convey t suffering, romance, reality, & uniquiness of, in this case, impeccable EIR! It would also be t catalyst to grow an appreciation for t arts & especially voice & story telling. . .
kneel (in prayer we can put our toys down & appreciate rhythm, pitch, & dynamics in concert w history!)
