I feel like most seem to forget that Charles Martinet is in his 70s, so if they have him voice that big of a project they run the risk of him croaking midway through and THEN they have to find a way to finish making the movie WITHOUT their main voice actor. Hiring someone else was the smartest move they could make, and making it someone everyone knows means they can bring in more people. Also, if you look past who’s voicing who, you’d see that the movie is actually a lot of fun to watch.
