    The song before this one, The First Man on Earth, is such an uplifting song, which is what makes this one such a tearjerker. I always imagine The Colonist being so happy and free, having Earth all to himself, like it's the happiest he has ever been, only to have to wake up and realize he's slowly dying alone in a sad little energy tank on Mars. I just imagine him waking up to his heartbreaking reality when it transitions into this song.

      Well summed up. That is pretty much how it feels. Music translate into universal emotion.

    The second part of this album is just amazing. But with this ending, The Dream Sequencer is in my top 3 albums of all time

      The intro is Em(7?), Fmaj7; Space Oddity also uses those two chords. :)
