Yes I got my first camera with green stamps and had to send the film off. When I was 6 years old my mom let me take pictures with her camera and they were really good. So cute Emily talking about when she was young while she's still young. Ha ha.

It's so lovely to hear about your journey on RUclips - it is inspiring and encouraging, especially because I started my RUclips channel at the start of January 2019 but it has been very challenging to be seen with the algorithm. I started my channel because I worked in fashion journalism, I was on maternity leave and had suffered with my mental health during pregnancy and post-natally. I wanted to talk about mental health but also share fashion, beauty, home and lifestyle content. I haven't missed a week since I started but it has just been because I love creating the content and I decided I would make it whether or not anyone watched 😂 Honestly, I think it looks so much simpler to do than it is to have a youtube channel and it's such an amazing achievement to even start it I think, let alone stick to it and make a career out of it, which is an incredible achievement Emily! It has taken me nearly 2 1/2 years to get 500 subs, which feels tiny compared to some creators, but still 500 people is actually a lot of people. I still love doing it and the thought of stopping actually makes me sad so I know I have to keep creating even if it only helps or entertains one person - or just me 😜. I also started a second channel about tarot at the end of last year and that has grown a lot faster and is around 700 subs in a few months but still I do wonder what makes the algorithm show certain content to people at any given time. In all honestly, sometimes it can feel disheartening to put so much energy and passion into a video and get hardly any views, but I just often remind myself actually why I started in the first place and how much the whole process have given me and enriched my life. I put off starting a channel for years because I kept waiting for everything to be perfect, like a camera and my house to be perfect and my weight to get back to pre pregnancy annndddd...... it never happened lol but I started anyway in august 2019 I shared our gender reveal and i didn’t tell a soul 🙈 But I absolutely LOVE making videos and the whole editing. I think my problem has been finding my niche but I do love making helpful parenting videos so maybe something more down the mommy path. I really struggle with consistency too having a family of 5 and a business from home, I can’t believe how consistent you have been WELL DONE be a it’s not easy at all! You really do deserve all that you have achieved. I love how you say tunnel vision and ignore the negativity I take it so personal just a thumbs down. It's so lovely to hear about your journey on RUclips - it is inspiring and encouraging, especially because I started my RUclips channel at the start of January 2019 but it has been very challenging to be seen with the algorithm. I started my channel because I worked in fashion journalism, I was on maternity leave and had suffered with my mental health during pregnancy and post-natally. I wanted to talk about mental health but also share fashion, beauty, home and lifestyle content. I haven't missed a week since I started but it has just been because I love creating the content and I decided I would make it whether or not anyone watched 😂 Honestly, I think it looks so much simpler to do than it is to have a youtube channel and it's such an amazing achievement to even start it I think, let alone stick to it and make a career out of it, which is an incredible achievement Emily! It has taken me nearly 2 1/2 years to get 500 subs, which feels tiny compared to some creators, but still 500 people is actually a lot of people. I still love doing it and the thought of stopping actually makes me sad so I know I have to keep creating even if it only helps or entertains one person - or just me 😜. I also started a second channel about tarot at the end of last year and that has grown a lot faster and is around 700 subs in a few months but still I do wonder what makes the algorithm show certain content to people at any given time. In all honestly, sometimes it can feel disheartening to put so much energy and passion into a video and get hardly any views, but I just often remind myself actually why I started in the first place and how much the whole process have given me and enriched my life. It has been amazing and I love it 💓 Thanks so much for sharing such inspiring content Emily! You truly deserve every success and happiness 🙏 😘 Xxx

I put off starting a channel for years because I kept waiting for everything to be perfect, like a camera and my house to be perfect and my weight to get back to pre pregnancy annndddd...... it never happened lol but I started anyway in august 2019 I shared our gender reveal and i didn’t tell a soul 🙈 But I absolutely LOVE making videos and the whole editing. I think my problem has been finding my niche but I do love making helpful parenting videos so maybe something more down the mommy path. I really struggle with consistency too having a family of 5 and a business from home, I can’t believe how consistent you have been WELL DONE be a it’s not easy at all! You really do deserve all that you have achieved. I love how you say tunnel vision and ignore the negativity I take it so personal just a thumbs down. I think you have to have thick skin being on RUclips & you’ve done amazing. I can’t Thankyou enough for this chatty video ❤️ I’d love more tips like this for us small youtubers 🥰
