This tripod is good, I use it every day with heavier setup. Only downside is the feet. That is useless! Always fold in! I try to do something with that. And a bit heavy and long (in folded position) into a backpack.

Since they sell it with and without a head and I see that the ball head costs less on the online site, I wanted to ask you if it is possible to mount a fluid head for video instead of the ball head? Yes agree in carbon and a bit shorter & lighter to make it a true travel tripod. Its a nice concept (pardon the pun) all the same. Yer still £129.00 on K&F's website. I've considered a few - Peak design, Ulanzi & coman zero y & the new Heipi which is on Kickstarter. However now ogling the SIRUI AM-225+SL-100 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Extendable Center Column which is only £116.00 with voucher on Amazon. Just need to add ballhead. Tripod & column weighing just under a kilo. I have the mini table top version and the quality is top drawer. 👍

Rubbish.. I bought a carbon fiber KF-SA255C1 tripod November 2022 directly fro K&F, within a couple of weeks legs were getting jammed because of the ultra cheap soft plastic parts used in the twist locks, The ball head split in to two parts whilst I was using it !! with my camera on!! twist locks came unstuck from the legs and had to be re glued back on..parts inside have broken and generally it's now really hit and miss using it.. I contacted them and they would only send out the replacement plastic parts if I paid them £15.. Cowboys.. Spend your money elsewhere..
I’m sorry about your bad experience but just to be clear you’re talking about a different product. It’s from the same company but still different product. Every company has good products and bad products so not sure if relevant rating this as ‘rubbish’ based on a bad experience with different tripod from the same company 🤷♂️

Those plastic levers is a deal-breaker for me. Tripot should be durable an last a long long time.
same here broke two tripod with the same issue, so now i just buy a tripod where i can purchase a ball head separately.

There’s no monopod coming out of this one unfortunately, they’re probably referring to a different model
