The seats are in some motion machine that moves the audience around with the film, like pulling back on the slingshot and being launched, the machine pulls backwards and raises the audience forward like the launch. Idk how to explain it thoroughly, I just went on it yesterday
That motion machine is imax's classic motion simulator system, aka, the orthogonal motion base. It is an old motion base, and the way it works is different than other motion bases. Instead of tilting, it will just move up and down and slide back and forward, and side to side, the motion base is used for many kinds of Motion simulator rides, including funhouse express, crashendo, and the classic, insearch of the obelisk.
Tbh it’s disappointing that they did that they just show you a video they have a whole show building for what they could have done what dispicable me the ride did that would be better but they didn’t do that so I rate it a 2/10 very disappointing
