Lahijan pool is also one of the sights of Lahijan. #Shah_Abbas_Safavi ordered the construction of this building and since then this pool has been used to provide water for agriculture. Currently, this pool is used as one of the attractions. Lahijan pool has also provided a very good environment for hiking enthusiasts.
The area of this pool is 17 hectares and its depth is about 4 meters. In the middle of this pool, there is a small island. If you want to access this island, you can use the cement bridge that leads to this island and reach the middle of this beautiful pool.
Lahijan city is located in #Gilan_province . The population living in this province is about two and a half million people. The people of Gilan speak Gilki, Tati, and Talshi languages, and a few have a Kurdish dialect. People in Gilan province are Shiites, although Sunni Muslims are also seen in some places.
The people of Gilani make a living by doing agriculture, animal husbandry, making and selling honey, selling silkworms and catching fish. Among the products that Gilani farmers grow are rice, tea, wheat, barley, peanuts, hazelnuts and tobacco.
The dialect of Lahijan people
In most cities of Iran, people either have a special language or speak with a special dialect of the region. Lahijan also has its own dialect. Most of the people in Lahijan region speak Gilki language. Gilki, like other Iranian dialects, has its own rules.

The distance between Tehran and Lahijan is 346 km, and if you walk on the road at a safe speed, you will reach this city after about 5 or 6 hours.
