Anna thanks so much for this ! it was my first time on one of your sew alongs and absolutely loved it ! Great videos and lots of good tips. I am in for the next one, for sure!
Thanks a million for the lovely videos. It allows me to understand all the processes, sometimes is stressing, because , we don’t know all the tips . Could be possible that you make more tutorial or sew along, it could be amazing!!! Please, please. Thanks for sharing!!
9:31 you mention using a 1/2” double fold bias binding to finish the edges - do you still recommend sewing the front and back panels to the gusset piece using a 1/2” SA? If so, do you then trim it down some before binding? Or can you sew with a thinner SA (1/4”)? Thanks in advance. I’m new to bag making, so working through some of these modifications does not come naturally. Thanks in advance! I really enjoy your patterns and videos - this is my third Noodlehead bag.
Thanks for the videos really enjoyed them, I know siah swag has done the binding method, have to admit if I was a pattern designer, I would definitely be asking the most popular bag making u tubers , to make my patterns as that is how I buy most of my patterns
Hi Darlene, you can use the instructions in the Sandhill pattern for the drop in method. Or you can use this method if you are wanting to do a bound lining.
You said in the video that you'd provide a link for binding instructions - don't see it. Would like to not have to purchase 2 patterns just to do the binding.
Hi Anna! I love your patterns & your tutorials on them. Can you revise the makers tote tutorial step by step for use that are not as advanced. I tried to write this in the makers tote video but comments are turned off. Thank you for all you do & holding some of our hands through your wonderful patterns😊 TinaB
This is so much easier than the explanation on the typed pattern!
Glad it was helpful!
@@noodleheadsewingpatterns unfortunately cannot add pics. Now just attaching the lining.
Your wonderful clear videos convinced me to try this bag..I'm going in...wish me luck 😊
Thanks so much, I am going to try the binding method. I hope you do more sew alongs.
That's great Donna! Let me know how it goes. And yes! The sew alongs are fun, it's great to connect!
This is great! I plan to try this method and see which way I like better.
Sounds great Michelle! Let me know how it goes. :)

Thanks Angela!
Am I understanding that the pattern method OR this method will work to finish the bag? And either method will work with the bound or drop-in lining?
