      I think the main issue is the US attempting to balkanise russia through a proxy war, everything that has been done, has been done through and by the US, yet they then pretend there a mediator? Its beyond a joke how manipulative and evil these people are, there's only solution for them.

    Banning Russian LNG in Europe means USA LNG in Europe. Which further means that Europe will continue to sink into poverty and deindustrialization. Due to the fact that USA LNG is several times more expensive than Russian. America wants to economically destroy Europe not Russia. Russia is not isolated from the world, 80 percent of countries cooperate with Russia and without threats, violence, etc.
    The price of oil has risen? Another reason why Europe should not be sanctioned. These sanctions are destroying far more Europe than Russia.

      They need to drive oil prices up to help Oil Drillers in the USA sell Bonds to,
      "Drill Baby Drill".
      If not the price of oil will not justify US production to continue.
      After all what other Resources do the US have to offer.
      Like the rest of the G-7 Nations who created their lifestyles through Colonial Exploitation,
      they have little left to offer.

Gefolgs-staaten befreit.

    "Operation Siberian Tiger" is now in play. When you hear of a major civilian nuclear drill in Russia, then know that President Putin has ordered a decapitation strike on Kiev, throwing 300,000 soldiers "on top" of Kiev as "A Russian Demonstration of Power" to teach "ALL" NATO Leaders that Russia's "Next Evolution of Drone Warfare" called "City Busting Armies" can take down any European Capitol in just days. And yes Russia has 100's of 1,000's of men of courage, commitment and honor that can take any European city down in just a couple of days. The men/soldiers will be "All Volunteers"!!!

  • @timber750
    @timber750 23 days ago +42

    Dima has failed to notice that the sanctions have strengthened Russia while weakening the West. The point of continuing them is to attempt to force all Western countries to cut economic ties with Russia, which has reliably supplied petroleum products to the West for decades at attractive prices, in favor of buying expensive petroleum products from the US. This beggars the supine Western dependencies while also demonstrating their lack of self-respect, much less sovereignty. This may result in overthrow of the Western governments who consistently betray their own citizens' interests.

    • @TheKeysToWisdom
      @TheKeysToWisdom 23 days ago +10

      This is forced economic destruction on the citizens of the EU nations. EU prosperity was provided entirely by Russian energy and resources. They will now be energy hostages and if any war does start none of that energy will ever make it across the Atlantic. Cheap and reliable with peace and safety has become expensive and unreliable with war on the door step that will finish the kill blow on the EU citizens.

    Ukrainian forces begin withdrawal from Pokrovsk. Although "Fortress Pokrovsk" stood firm through August, September, and early October, the viability of Ukraine’s hold on the city was becoming more fraught with every passing week. By the beginning of summer, Russian first-person-view drones - including the fiber-optic variant, immune to jamming, and perfect for laying ambushes along key logistics roads - controlled all of the entrances to Pokrovsk from the sky.
    That drone saturation, as the war has shown us, only becomes denser with time - and Pokrovsk was no exception.
    For the brigades still holding sectors inside the city and in neighboring Myrnohrad, this meant that each and every logistics and rotation run in and out of the city had a higher chance of being hit by a drone than the last.
    For soldiers from the 68th Jaeger Brigade who spoke to the Kyiv Independent, holding the front line on the southern edge of the city, this meant, in practical terms, simply running out of vehicles - not only armored personnel carriers, but also the standard modified pickup trucks that most Ukrainian soldiers use for everyday logistics.
    But running out of vehicles is only one part of the problem. Tighter and tighter Russian drone control over logistics prevents troop rotations or inflicts heavy losses during them. Drone and mortar teams are no longer receiving their everyday supplies of drones, ammunition, and fuel. Gradually, the actual manpower and fire assets defending Pokrovsk from the inside were spread thinner and thinner.
    Still, the final chapter of the battle has not yet been written, and much is still up in the air.
    Unfortunately, if we look at the fate of other so-called fortress cities in Donbas over the course of Russia’s full-scale war, the signs are foreboding for Pokrovsk. The situation reminds me in many ways of Bakhmut and Avdiivka, where Ukrainian forces managed to defend the flanks of the city to prevent a complete encirclement - moments of fierce, heroic fighting - but ultimately, Russian fire control over the roads in and out, combined with advances inside those cities and a refusal by the Ukrainian command to order a timely withdrawal, led to chaotic retreats, unprepared defenses beyond the city, and, worst of all, avoidable losses.
    But unlike in Bakhmut or Avdiivka, where ground lines of communication were a gauntlet of more traditional direct and indirect fire from nearby Russian positions, Pokrovsk faces its own final act in an environment of asphyxiating drone saturation at a level we have not seen in previous battles. Given this, I worry that the Ukrainian command’s common reluctance to order a timely retreat could have even deadlier consequences. I hope my fears are unfounded.
    For journalists, volunteers - let alone soldiers and residents of the area - the looming fall of Pokrovsk is hard to accept, especially with memories from just over a year ago, when it was a buzzing city in the rear with everyday life still intact, still so fresh.
    Euromaidan press - Russia hammers Kharkiv with KAB bombs, drones target Kherson, and power grid in Chernihiv, Sumy oblasts.
    The operational situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to deteriorate along the Kharkiv section of the front line. The Russian army is making progress in Volchansk. There are reports of advanced assault groups reaching the northern outskirts of Synelnykove to the east of the city.
    The Russian army has continued its offensive in the western part of Kupyansk, taking new positions including the Kupyansk Motor Transport College and the Metiz factory.
    On the northern flank of the Liman front, the Russian army achieved tactical successes in the Novovodyane area.
    Several Russian assault groups reportedly landed on Karantynny Island in Kherson (in the Korabelny district of the city), where fighting has intensified. This territory lies within the city itself, which the Russians were forced to retreat from in November 2022.
    The Ukrainian government is rapidly running out of money amid the conflict with Russia and currently only has enough funds to last until April, Spanish newspaper El Pais has reported. El Pais warned in an article on Tuesday that “Ukraine has serious financial problems.” According to EU sources cited by the outlet, Kiev currently only has enough money to stay afloat “until the end of the first quarter of 2026.”

Unlike the current United States, which hates him, but is convenient for them, bringing in huge amounts of revenue through the purchase of their weapons, fuel, and gas. The United States, in a deep crisis, thanks to a Europe implicated in a war that isn't its own, gets the carrot and stick from this great circus act, in the Brussels tent.🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

      You mean the guy that liked the USSR and has been in charge of Belarus since 1991? His ultimate goal is if not reunification, then cooperation with Russia. In this regard, it only makes sense to be a client state of a much larger entity, like Transnistria is, or Armenia should be.

      Oil Price rise helps Russia... The Rise is more helpful than any more silly sanctions are detrimental because Russia has already disconnected from the US economy and it's vassals, and an alternate trading network now diminishes the centuries long hegemony of the Anglo-American financial and trade systems

      @ismith5024im living just fine and get paid awesome working in the oil industry along with a fuel card and vehicle allowance. So rising oil prices mean more work and increased wages for some of us, so hell yeah i like it

    Per other news sources, the earliest of these approved sanctions will not begin for 6 months and some will not begin for a year or longer. This means Russia can still sell oil & gas to Europe through the 2025-26 winter. Why should sanctions that do not start for 6 months affect Russian economy today?

    The Russians are winning, they don't need a ceasefire, the West does. They need it also because the EU has already spent all of their financial resources until the end of 2027 to finance Ukraine. That is also the reason for increased discussions about those €200 billion frozen russian assets, because they don't know where else to take the money for Ukraine from. So the West initiated this conflict, and now that they are losing they cry ceasefire, ceasefire.

    Does anybody know if the people of Transnistria will have heat and electricity this winter?
    If you recall, last winter Zel shut off the gas supply line that went to the power plant in Transnistria. There was a stockpile of coal that was used to try to keep the lights and heat on for the remainder of the winter, but it would only last for ~60 days.
