in my element - bri’s piece 2024

"in my element" is a dynamic dance piece that embodies the choreographer's belief in the freedom of movement beyond traditional styles. Drawing inspiration from hip hop, modern, jazz, and contemporary dance, this work celebrates the empowerment found in a fusion of these styles. Each section highlights how the body instinctively responds to music, mood, and energy -showcasing the strength and individuality of each dancer. Through bold and collaborative movement, the performers create a narrative that reflects the choreographer's journey and identity. "in my element" invites the audience to experience the beauty of dance as a multifaceted expression, unbound by genre and rich with personal resonance.
