@@themr.kiddnetwork5715 Thanks. I’ve been wanting to do ditch lights on my Rav4 for a while now and your video plus a Cali raised complete kit might make it a lot easier for me 👍🏻
I use fuse taps on low wat items such as a CB or maybe small light. If u search fuse tap on Amazon, u get a lot of options, but here is a link for a handful of different sizes. I usually put a relay on most of my items just cause they are cheap and easy to wire. But in reality it's done for a lot of reasons. It's safer mainly. If your light has a very large amp draw at all, you will want to install a relay switch to keep from overheating an ordinary switch, burning up the wires, and thus reducing the amount of electricity getting to your light. If you are using a light pod that does not have a very large amp draw, you may not need a relay switch, but if you are using a larger LED light bar, they are a must have.
Nice looking
Mr. Kidd nice video and great explanations! Where did you get the switch from? Cheers!

Where did you get the fuse cable extension? I definitely struggle with how short it comes as well!

What does the relay do in this application?
