The church later would kill Mila for protecting Arlott. That's when Arlott finally unleashed his rage. He then took Mila's body to bring her back to her home.
He is not villain.. He is more like anti-villain.. or more like no side for both empire or even abyss

He's neither on abyss' side and human's side. Because later the church would kill Mila because she was protecting Arlott. That's when Arlott started to hate human for the 2nd time.

He doesn't want Odette to know about it because he treasured his love for her more than his own son. He decides to abandon Arlott in a village, wanting someone else to take care of him.
