The nuking of the Iron Hails with hand of the gods and thunderbolt at the start was disgusting, so disgusting that Turins mind protected him from it by refusing to take it in ^^ . Its sad that the Jade/Jet Lions are so meh, love the models, they would just need a smallish buff. Maybe giving them terror would be a bit much, but it would fit pretty well.
Oh my god I've never seen casts annihilate units like those two Iron Hails were taken out by Thunderbolt and Hands of the Gods. Instant break from pure damage while behind friendly lines. Utterly devestating.
I still think its so toxic that Zhao Ming is practically inmortal and the gameplan around him is "Lol, just let him run rampant and hope to kill his army before he kills anything, also don't use infantry because he melts that" its been ages since we've seen any other dragon lords in the recordings, hell, even Yuan-bo only got like 2 or 3 weeks of relevance
True. though it feels like he's one of the few things keeping Cathay decent, so if they nerf the self heal i'd love to see some buffs for his siblings (or the poor Magistrate).
12:48 There's another oversight to Kroq-Gar as well, they STILL have not given him his spear for multiplayer. I don't know if it's just an oversight or the devs think he'd be unbalanced otherwise, but given what legendary lords can do now, he feels pretty darn lacklustre for who he's meant to be.
dude yes please... him on grymloq with magic attacks and leadership debuffs, (honestly just copy azazels item) would be great against all the bum rush factions. Really must be an oversight since most of the powercreep is much more drastic than giving kroq gar all his items. Kind of like the immune to psychology thing. Can only pick him on Grymloq in Tabletop so they forgot to give it to him back in the day.
I love seeing Kroq and Gorrok in lizardmen multiplayer. I really wish Lizardmen gets an update. Kroq needs a buff, and Lizardmen needs buff/reworks on a lot of things.
Krok-gar stats are laughable. He should have stats similar to those of a chaos lord or a vampire, yet he is in the ballpark of a puny human. He fell behind with the power creep i guess.
It's still crazy to me how hard he gets crushed by Queek Headtaker. Kroq Gar is supposed to be a crazy good fighter but he's so terrible at fighting because of his stats and animations that he can only be viable when he's on Grymloq. It's like they built him just for that.
Honestly, I really like jade lancers. They feel pretty quick for heavy cav, and for their cost work well as the hammer to the infantry anvil. High impact damage in a small amount of time and then scarper. Lord knows my caravans survived obscene ogre attacks due to jade lancers rear charging, chasing down and slaughtering leadbelchers. But I’m a campaign player, so not sure in multiplayer
They are alright in mp but i think they lose to a lot of other cavalry in the game since cathay has somewhat lacking stats without harmony. But a lancer with crowmen support is some nice tech.
same goes for the Scar Veteran which is basically the same Model. You would think they´re great to hunt down large Enemy Centerpieces but they just suck at that. So yeah, it probably the Animations that the Hits dont connect or some other Hitbox related Bugs
I think kroq gar with hand, heavens caster, combined with double ancient sallies would be pretty darned good in this matchup. Kroq counters cannons, my only easy tool into Sally, while the heavens and sallies blow up my troops. Would be very hard to deal with as cathay.
If you bring a Heavens Caster for Thunderbolts you might as well bring Tempest too. Cathay will always max out Crowmen, if you can catch two of them with one Cast its worth the Cost
Instead of how much damage each player does, they should show how gold value each player has lost. They could also show how much gold value has been routed and how much has been healed.
Would Cathay benefit for some kind of Depth Guard/Aspiring Champions unit? An elite but small AP infantry (with a RoR with anti large?), high damage output and phys resist to bunkerbust formations? Some kind of kung-fu monks inspired something...
Cathay are realy a hit or miss factions. If they can set up their thing they will (usually) curb stomp you to the ground. But if they get messed up in their planning they uaually get rips to shreed.
wish cathy's dlc had actually flushed out their roster. So lacking in units, and with no previous miniatures' to draw from they had free reign to create whatever they needed

I saw that thing flying in the air and knew that's gonna be nasty
And Turin was asking about the aplication of Hand of the God.
Lmao yeah I was like oh daaaam that was a good hit
3:31 absolutely DISGUSTING snipe of the iron hail gunners by big Kroqy Balboa
My god for what I thought was an anti SEM missile that deleted the whole unit.
Kroq angled it perfect down the line of the unit 👊💥 ouch!
@@Makofueled I mean if youre up against Liche priests or something like that they do also just nuke them if it hits well. But its what..15 missiles ?

People talk about warp lighting spam all the time but thunderbolt is just as nasty.
Also does damage against monster infantry and nukes artillery

Yo, Turin you alright? You avoid the fires? Shield of the Old Ones proc?
You mean sigmar right? RIGHT?
On a seriousn note i am happy to see the comment get a heart it simples my fav caster is doing ok!

@@ReachStudioPro He is suppose to be the best physical fighter in Lizardmen and one of the strongest in the warhammer world, it is sad how bad he is.

Kroq Gar needs some serious love from CA
The lions are so cool for cathay and the jet lion also gives harmony to all your melee troops.
60 MD is also kind of wild for a se monster.
I feel like kroq on the raptor never does that well. I dunno if it's his animations or what. He just doesn't seem to do damage.

I got a picture next to a jet lion statue in istanbul while i was on holiday those things look sweet was rocking the shades as well 😎
I kept thinking that 'Dark Age Rush' was some special game mode that I had never heard of.
That Kroqy Balboa shot, was one fine piece of Ace!
Kroq not being ITP is baffling. Makes me wonder if it was just an oversight because he'd usually be glued to a carno that causes terror.

I am disappointed that there is no big Dino SE in this build at all 😂

This was one, very cost effective match...
jet lion dont cause terror bc was seen before in chinese restaurant
Cathay is my favorite faction!
