Was in Münchenlast year and went to Tollwood with my girlfriend who is from München. I grew up just outside of Nürnberg and love the Christkindl market there and it's the oldest one. Leaving for Germany on the 25th, don't drink all the feuerzangenbowle.
All the food is making me hungry. 27 degrees down here in Charleston. Need some hot spatzen lol and some glue vine. Do you think you would do it again next year? What would you do differently? Oh man those beers! 😊 🍻🍺
That’s how I felt editing the video!!!! I’d love to go again next year to see new cities though! For this trip I would have done a different country again instead of two cities in Germany so you could get a better variety of food options.
@@MathersOnTheMap tullery gardens was way too congested and winter wonderland in London was amazing same to you guys! Hope you’ll check out channel out sometime
why do you always travel in the rain, Nürnberg rain, München rain. I guess you love the rain duh?, about 2 weeks ago Munich was sugared with snow... much more lovely 🤗🥳 I see you eat a lot of food here, so you better not count the calories haha 😥 I enjoy your video 👍
I know we just missed the snow! We were bummed but heard it was almost too much and cancelled a ton of trains and flights so could have been a bit chaotic haha Merry Christmas!
Well, yes, you might be right, it was a LOT of snow, I was shovelling all day and yes, lots of flights and trains were cancelled, maybe for that reason the rain was the better choice 🤗, merry christmas for your family @@MathersOnTheMap
There is one called Pink Christmas (its a gay / queer) in Munich's gayborhood. Everything is pink and flamboyant and shit. You can buy bearded-muscle-dude-mermaid-tree-ornaments xD. Its a fun place
Yeah, as a German speaking Austrian I really did not know what he meant first. My favorite Weißbier would be Weihenstephaner actually, but Schneider is very good too.
We loved the trains, they’re high speed and comfortable, don’t have to worry about baby in a car seat so that is a game changer. Without a baby I would probably rent a car on some days from the train station to go see things outside the city, but the focus on this trip was solely Christmas markets and didn’t want to jam too much in for our first euro trip with the baby
Please reconsider using the word "g*p" as in around 7:23 when you say "they really "g*pped me on the onions." This is an offensive slur especially in Germany with the history of the Roma people (also known as Gypsies) there.
My dream is to visit German Christmas markets. I have a weird question: are there restrooms at the markets? Thank you for the videos; making me hungry. Will travel for food!

lol he said Schneider Wees. Dude, it is Wi-say!

What did you think of train travel? Would you change to a rental car if you did it again, or fly to next town?

You say Asian inspired tower! Be responsible, please.
We are...it's actually called "Chinesischer Turm" or "Chinese Tower" in english.

Thank you for the videos; making me hungry. Will travel for food!
Yes but you have to pay to use at most, unless you grab a bite to eat at a restaurant then you’re fine there!
