Thankfully the F-5 is one of the easiest planes to learn which made it pretty quick, and the shots are pretty much the same as the original so I just needed to replicate most of it rather than cook up new shots.
My favorite thing especially with videos like these (not just by Nassault, even) is that it shows allies, named or otherwise, actually being useful as a really good workaround to not having infinite missiles - quite unlike the original games where it's all up to you, the player.
1:27 to 2:05 - I was really hoping that the F-16C Enemy Ace "Temple", would've been the jet Mobius 1 was fighting. Still this is an amazing updated vid to watch, Keep on Keeping on what you do!! 😁🙌
I tried replicating the Tempel skin but I couldn't find a proper source. Since this final edit I have ordered a PS2 power cable for the EU outlet and will use my AC04 copy to just open up the hangar and check the skins right from the source! You can expect most, but not all, missions to have the ace encounters as this also relies on which mods and modules are available for DCS. I have DeVico's Tornado skin completed and primed for Deep Strike though!

2:31 I still remember having a blast playing around with the Rocket Pods in this mission of AC4. Still wish you didn't have to launch All of them at once as that makes the later laser guided ones from AC7 particularly ridiculous that they must be all launched at a Single Target...
Snowy mission in time for the winter season! Quick question: Will you be including the mission briefings in the final project Shattered Skies? You've done them well before and I think it would be a shame to leave them out as they do a lot of explaining the story throughout the game
Good question. I feel like while they add the Ace Combat feel, they are not really necessary when telling the story from a cinematic perspective that isn't the third person game-camera. I feel they also take away from the impact of many shots, with text on the screen. They both have a plus and minus but I prefer the clean feel of the visuals with just the audio, as for me the audio alone carries a lot of the Ace Combat feel.
@@ThePurpleguy123 I do wish there was a way to have custom closed captioning, I would absolutely love to add a one-click option to add the genuine looking in-game subtitles.
@Nassault RUclips does support like more expressive and advanced closed captioning outside what they provide in the built-in caption editor. One of the most famous examples is the Japanese Subtitles for "The Glorious Octagon of Destiny" I think the program they used to achieve those types of subtitles is using Aegisub if you want to look into it.
I want to do Liberation of Gracemaria, but as far as I know nobody has exported the audio lines of AC6 like they've done with ACZ, AC5 and AC04. I would love to model in some large skyscrapers and bridges into DCS to create the city but until the audio files are available I will just have to wait unfortunately.
