"Like when the kids rub my leg up and down in the pool" LMAO! Ya got to love a good sense of humor! I've watched about a dozen of your videos so far while working on my first DIY paver project and this is now my favorite video for yours! Your videos are priceless and have taught me A LOT! Thanks for all you do.
🤣 You got to have some fun in life without a doubt! Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you are enjoying the videos. Good luck with your project / projects! ✌
Great video. Thanks for the tips and the demonstration. Glad you found the wand at the end-finished with a bang. Best of luck to you. Keep up the good work.
Do you just hit the pavers with a compactor before using the ez sand? Assuming with the wet application the sand probably gets settled without vibration.
Great video and clear graphics….gonna give this a try as the polysand I used on my pavers over a year or so comes off when I power wash it yearly and now every time it rains I get sand all over the furniture and stones.
Thank you, this stuff sets up very hard, not sure how it will hold up under a pressure washer though. I know any polysand that you install will get blown out if you pressure wash them. Unfortunately that just happens... They sell cleaners that you mix with water and use a brush with, then just rinse off the pavers once your done brushing. not sure if that would help in your situation... ✌
Hey. Good job! I did exactly as you have done with plenty of water, and a day later the easy joint sand is still loose inside joints that I can pull it out with my fingers. I am wondering what is the setting time for this product? P.S. What is the green stuff on your lawn at 8:00
Hi, thanks! I hope by now it has set up.....It should be good in 24-48 hrs. if not, maybe a product defect...? The green stuff on the lawn is hydro seed. ✌
@@TheChristianHardscaper yes, you were right! It started to setting up after 48hrs. Many thanks!! Hydro seed? Hmm, I have never heard about it. I have to look it up. Thank you!
How do you fit in beautiful hardscaping with your flawless acting career Mr. Ben affleck? lol just kidding I appreciate and love your videos. I’ve gained lots of confidence And knowledge watching you and your team, thanks and keep up the great work!
Hi Christian, which is the best sand? We applied G2 - Gator Max yesterday, but the top looks hard but when you poke it, the bottom is still soft and loose. Thanks.
Quick question... What happens with all the excess sand that you've brushed or washed onto the lawn or the flowerbed? Does that not set hard or need to be removed?
as leba christian ...excuse me for a question. how much. leda slope for water to patios 1/8 per foot ..... and depth 9 inches. .. greetings. and. blessings in all your projects 🙏
No problem! and yes, 1/8 inch per foot minimum. If you want to be safe, go slightly more than that. And yes, the depth we dig is between 8-12 inches depending on the soil type. ✌
@@TheChristianHardscaper Thank you very much Christian for your answers....your works remain with this type of material. Nice greetings from here in Virginia. and. blessings
You usually compact after the pavers, while adding polymeric sand. In this case, would you compact before? Would you do it on the chip stone before you lay pavers?
Another great video! Dude...did you freak out at the owner for getting seeding into the pavers before they were jointed? 🙀 I know this material is supposed to require more work with smaller joints. I've got a paver body with Techo-Bloc Blu 60 Smooth, which has a reasonable 1/4" gap, and their Victorien pavers (basically Holland) for the soldier course, which has a much narrower gap. Do you think this product would work with that setup or do the tight joints on the soldier course make it a no go? 🤔
Thanks, unfortunately the hydro seed guys were to blame for that…. Not a huge deal though, some extra clean up before hand, that’s all. This stuff will work fine for the Blu 60, a little more difficult with the Victorian joints….. I think you could make it happen but polymeric sand is better for those tight joints. ✌🏻
Worked with this stuff it’s good but make sure you don’t leave any of the water residue on top, especially on lighter colours like kandla greg even if it seems very watered down it will leave greasy stains on your paving. Found this out the hard way.
God bless you also. I'm thinking about doing this part time to subsidize $$. I appreciate the fact you represent Jesus #1 a #2 the quality of your workmanship.
I think this sand is excellent, but very expensive…. Also, you need a good size joint for this sand to work right. If the joints are less than a 1/4 inch, this stuff doesn’t work well. But if the joints are wider then 1/4, it’s excellent ✌🏻
@@TheChristianHardscaper Good video, so how about exactly 1/4"? I'm thinking of using that for Techo-Bloc Blu 60 smooth bundle, does that sound like the right size joint? Thanks!
If cost was not a factor, i would use Easy Joint as much as possible. It hardens like crazy.... But something to think about is that Easy Joint only works for somewhat wide joints, if you have small joint lines, this product will not work to good. Poly Sand has finer sand in it to allow for filling tight joints. Easy Joint has bigger sand particles in it, preventing you from filing tight joints. Other than that, this product is an A+
@@TheChristianHardscaper Oh man but what about the excess sand that got brushed off to the sides? Will that just harden and u can break it off and take it away or I guess u could clean it up before it hardens but idk if you did or not? I guess my main question is, once its wet how long do you have to clean the left over mess? Thanks
Your statements seem a bit contradictory. It gets really hard, but it lets water through? How does that work? Also, how do you clean up the sand that got rinsed off onto the side of the yard and flower garden?
I guess they do if you don't understand how hard things can be permeable. Even concrete allows water to go through unless it is sealed or painted..... Regular polymeric sand for paver joints harden, but also seal to prevent water from going through. This Sand I am using in this video is made of slightly different polymers and different sand particles which harden, but also remain slightly permeable. Allowing water to slowly permeate through the joints and down into your base layers. The extra sand on the edges can be easily cleaned after you finish installing the sand. ✌
This is a great video, thank you. I am searching where to buy this and came up empty handed. Any suggestions as to where this can be purchased? Many thanks
Thank you! I am located in Massachusetts, not sure where you are or where this manufacturer are located but i get it from a local masonry supply store. I would say, look on the website of the manufacturer and see if they have a local dealer near you... ✌
I had a pipe broke down after installing this . Now I need to remove my titles and basically I can’t remove them not even with my pressure wash. This is concrete glue . Any suggestions?
This product cures hard as concrete. You may have to use a 4.5 inch grinder with a diamond blade on it to cut the joint sand out… that’s about the only thing I can think of….
I only use it in certain situations. I have used it about 6 times. Every time I use it, it works excellent. It sets very hard and is slightly permeable. The only problem is the price... Way more expensive than regular polymeric sand.

You just have to do your best cleaning it up. If there are really bad spots, you try to clean it up while it is still wet to get it before it cures.✌

Yes, we installed an 8 inch permeable base under the pavers. ✌

I agree completely. You need to rinse it down very well once you have swept it in. Sorry you had to deal with that, never fun...
Will this product work on flagstone, too?
Yes it will ✌🏻
Did u leave the excess sand in the flower bed and off the edges? Or what?
No, you can clean up the excess either when wet or dry. Some times it is easier to clean it up after it hardens... ✌

Thank you, we used 3-4 I believe. The buckets should tell you how much sq ft it covers depending on the width of the paver joints.
