I have PRO-ll and everything was working fine until my truck battery went dead cause I left door open. I had plow on truck and put a charger on for about an hour. Took charger off tried to start but didn't have enough power so put charger on and started with help of charger. After got truck running I took PRO controller and tried to lift plow? It wouldn't do anything? I noticed the green light turned to red light on controller for pairing. I suspect a voltage spike cleared the memory of controller? I attempted to pair the two and finally got a green light on controller but the plow would not raise??? I went through this process at least a dozen time, no success, I just heard a little click when tried to raise plow and sometimes the pairing light will turn from green back to red again? Does this mean the controller is shot? I have bought 4 controllers for this plow at cost of over $3000, if I have to buy another one I will be pushing $4000 for controllers. Sno-Way does nothing to protect it's electronics from voltage spikes. My question here is: Is this controller shot? IF so why am I getting a successful pairing indication? Any suggestion would be helpful as I am expecting more than a foot of snow tomorrow and I don't have a plow that works!
Hi and sorry to bother you I have a snow-way plow that blows the 10 fuse only went I press down,,, it doesn’t happen when I turn right or left or up only when I press down , do you have any idea what’s going on?
I am getting almost the exact same thing. When I connect power to my plow it instantly blows the fuse and when I disconnect the Bluetooth module and put a new fuse in it and then connect power it doesn’t blow but once I connect that box back in it blows on me. This is my first time ever having a snow plow and I bought it used and I don’t know anything about plows at all.
Be very cautious of Snoway! I was told that a used snoway plow was a good deal and a great plow. After getting it I found out that snoway decided they didn't want support this plow anymore so they just stopped making parts for it. No mount available. Well I already had it so I had to fabricate a mount. Time wasted. Come to find that the garbage snoway calls a wireless controller is just as big of a pile as the one I had 20 years ago. Way to go snoway! So now I have to buy a controller and module. More money down the drain. Now I need the specific light harness for my truck, wait for it.... No longer supported. Now I need to buy an $1100 updated harness. I shoulda went with my gut and put a Western on. I have more money and time into this piece of crap than I would have had into buying a new western that is supported and the company stands behind. Oh yeah and there is no customer suggestion customer service available. I guess that would be the way to handle all the complaints, no way to send them. Shame on Snoway and this boat anchor I ended up with. What a piece of sh*t!
ya , im wondering, had a western for 21 years not one problem , had my snoway for 6 yrs and controller is junk, i called customer no service in heartland wi he said noting i could do other than buy new controller $$$$$$$ 425 plus tax, i have two driveways maybe 70 feet long and this thing is junk , wtf is that, i wonder if anyone has started a class action lawsuit yet, i'll have to look and see , their are lemon laws for cars , maybe here we can get help
