You should try the mock duck in the tins too! At first I was put off by the tin and how it kinda reminded me of SPAM, but its actually really good! Usually sold in HB.

If you ever run of lip balm again, you can just use coconut oil! Another good tip to get the dead skin off is coconut oil and granulated sugar mixed together and used as a lip scrub - that's basically what the lush lip scrubs are made with + flavouring :-)

Hot For Food have a vegan nacho cheese sauce on their RUclips channel and it is incredible! I use it as a mac and cheese sauce and it's definitely the best one I've had.

I've recently made an AWESOME vegan mac and cheese sauce with the new Sainsbury range of "cheeses". I will have to make a video as it so dam easy and yummy. I used to love cheese so much so it is now my mission ,as a vegan, to make the best vegan cheese recipes evvvver!! (ﾉﾟ▽ﾟ)ﾉ

Did you tried Cheap Lazy Vegan version of mac'n'chesse? It's extremely fast and simple and yummy ;)
Hi Kiera! I actually follow a pretty simple recipe when making Mac and cheese, I didn't like the Jamie Oliver's one at all! Here's the one I always follow and both me and my boyfriend love so much:
1 cup potatoes
1 cup carrots
1/2 onion
1 cup raw cashews
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp mustard
1 garlic clove
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
3/4 cup vegetable cooking water
You basically cook the veggies (potatoes, carrots and onion) until soft, put them in a blender along with other ingredients and blend, blend, blend! You might adjust it to your taste, I feel like I always change something or add something and it never ever turned out badly. Let me know if you ever try it! x
My fave mac and cheese:
( just the cheese sauce - Also rather healthy )
1.Boil 1 potato + one small onion till super soft ( I don't peel as I'm too lazy, chop it up to make this process quicker)
2.Take off heat + pour out majority of water till 1 inch is left in the bottom of the pan ( let cool slightly so you don't kill your blender)
3. pop in blender with 1 tsp dijon mustard, 4 tbsp nutritional yeast, dash of siracha + add veg stock till you get consistency wanted. ( season with salt and pepper - taste along the way)
super easy, use however you like... I would add this to the pasta how you did with the breadcrumbs!
Add more nutritional yeast for extra cheezyness.

Omg your Sunday morning is literally the spitting image of my Sunday. I'm up at the crack of dawn, James (my bf) sleeps in and I do wake him up once it gets past that certain point, lol. And than he goes off to the store for all the things I forgot on Friday or Saturday's shopping and he will call and be like they have so and so or what what and yeah......lol....worlds apart girl! Question for you, where do you put your ratties when you clean their cages? Do you have a rolly ball or something or a makeshift cage for them while you clean the main one? I make my cheeze sauce this way:
2 peeled and boiled potatoes
1 peeled and boiled carrot
then blend together with
1-2 cloves garlic
2tbsp yellow mustard
3-4 tbsp nutritional yeast
salt, pepper, onion powder and tumeric to tast...
comes out great every time :)
For the mac & cheese, try to let the coconut oil completely melt down, then add a smaller amount of flour little by little slowly. Once you've done that keep stirring gently to let the flour taste cook out for a minute or two! Since you're making the food with vegan cheese, you could probably just look at a recipe for a regular non-vegan mac and cheese and copy that (just sub in anything that isn't vegan with something that is). Just because I find vegan recipes sometimes are a little harder to follow? Love your videos, by the way!! You're beautiful and lovely and SO sweet, and Alex is so cute.
Here is a link to the VegNews top 15 recipes of 2016 from their site. The top one is a mac and cheese recipe and it's pretty darn good. My mom (total forever never vegan or veggie or anything person) said it was pretty normal/like 'regular' mac so that's something as well. However, I would definitely use an extra 50% ish of the sauce or maybe double the recipe and keep some for leftover to put on steamed veggies or whatever you desire because it might not be flavourful enough or creamy enough with only one serving of the sauce. Also, top tip- simmer on LOW for this one; the recipe doesn't specify. Read the comments of the recipe for more tips like adding nutritional yeast if you want, etc. I add lemon pepper throughout just because I like it and some lemon juice to brighten it up and some vegan shredded cheese on top just because (all unnecessary really, just preference)

I btw have the same kind of addiction here in the Netherlands. I am totally addicted to pulled Veggie from Vivera (it resembles pulled pork). It comes with the sauce as well. Unfortunately it is pretty expensive (or luckily? otherwise I would be eating it every day xD).
Except that the mac and cheese was too thick, did you like the taste?
I love Crazy Rumour's lip balm it's the best. I haven't tried bubble gum yet. I just lost my spearmint one :/ it was perfect over Christmas. I lose lip balms so fast it's rubbish.
I use the Jamie Oliver Mac and Cheese recipe (massively modified to accomodate my own taste and laziness) and it's my favourite one so far. It's annoying though if you don't get the roux (sp?) right and end up with a floury mess though.
I wish I could have one ratty in my lifetime, but I do have 7 guinea pigs who I love hehe, and they take up enough room and are my babies 🐹🐹🐹🐹🐹🐹🐹❤

oh no I'm so sorry that Edwin is so unwell. what symptoms is he struggling with? if you have a way of using the Facebook group ouzles rattery I have found them invaluable for health and medical ratty advice. especially when vets don't know what to do next xxx
I don't know if you have the brand "Annies" over there like we do in the US but if you can get your hands on some, it's very tasty. It's not like, EXACTLY like mac n cheese but it doesn't lack flavor at all, nice to add in stuff too like hot sauce if you're into that sort of thing. The brand is just called "Annies" and it has a cute bunny logo.
We use the same lip balm brand!:) I love crazy rumours, the Mocha and Gingerbread are my favourites :3

try Ingrid Nilsen's vegan mac and cheese. its on youtube. its really easy to make, especially if you don't add mushrooms. you basically just cook the pasta, and throw some stuff in a blender, mix it together, then bake it if you want. its really good, everyone who i have made it for has said its good, and most of them aren't even vegan.
The Cesar version of that Dressing is ON POINT. I hadn't had Cesar dressing in so long that I had a salad with it everyday until it was gone...lmao.
wish I could try the LM shredded duck, but if it tastes like duck I could'nt eat it, totally the same with vegan beef it just feels wrong even though it's cruelty free =( , great video too =) x
