Hi Bobby, I'm a london prison officer and I try and pass on your experience, lessons and insight to as many of the young men as possible. This one is another lesson that hits the nail on the head. We had a young man that was paid at 16 to chuck acid on someone. He's just been released after 5 years. He got used like so many others. For a lot of the guys I'm honest with them and tell them their views won't change till they hit rock bottom but ask them to try and at least reach out to their yongers and give them a heads up. I rate your thing alot, big respect.

Another 20% are hardend kids who are fully about that life and theres 60% in the middle who could fall either way. Those are the ones I try to spend time on. The 20% of "bad" kids all I can do is try to be consistent and show them that not everyone in the system is waste and show them that some will never give up on them.
Ngl the manipulation techniques these olders have is actually commendable. I've experienced it a bit and it's such an endearing feeling when they give you ratings. Worse yet if you ain't got a father figure.

100% spot on man... I had beef with a boy because of someone else i had beef with and we ended up having 3 fights in about 10 minutes... Eventually his boys we're putting the boot in and then out the blue a pal of mine dropped me a HUGE spanner of which i put across the boys head who was on top of me about 3 or 4 times to get him off and split his his head wide open... For years we would see each other from a distance and scowl at each other, then one day i went up into a flat to score some smoke and 5 mins after that this same lad who id ahad beef with walked in to get some smoke himself... After an awkward few seconds he pulled me to the side and said "All that madness in the past... Lets just forget about it yeah" and put his hand out... We shock hands and ever since then we just give the nod exactly like you just said on here man.... Lifes to short to play games and fight all ya life... I used to love a fight and always used to itch to scrap anyone that even looked at me wrong for yearsssss..... Eventually we grow up and become men.... Id rather walk away now and I've even pull friends out of situations to avoid the same drama... Its not worth it my friends... My neighbor was sending my girl sexual texts and I hit him 5 or 6 times with a extendable baton I got nicked and on bail till 15th October. It's my first violence offense. I've been charged for GBH and possession of an offensive weapon, he's got 2 massive cuts on his head.

And she's making out she's scared for her and her daughter's life even though the next day her little girl walked to school and back all week by herself. But now this week they have all gone away somewhere, she's trying to get me the worst sentence possible
