Your kindness is a balm to all who encounter it.

I guess those 19th century Methodists knew better than Jesus how to celebrate communion.
💝
This just leads so many more questions. So there was over 1800 years of Communions that served wine? Are there examples of serving unfermented wine before Welch’s ? I suppose vinegar is still “fruit of the vine”. A small sip is all I would take of that for sure
I always leave a like before watching because I know your videos are so gooddd
Thank you for posting, love your content!

Süper👍🆒
So these people like Thomas welch chose to follow their social movement rather than the word of God. There's a name for people like that.
Ther is a reason they are called Protestant. They protest God because they know better. By the by love Welch’s grape juice
6:22 "He invented grape juice so he and others could *faithfully follow their sincere belief in T-totalism* and their sincere faith in observing the sacred meal at church."
That's what happens when Jesus' commands just aren't righteous enough for _you._ 🙄
So, some Christians choose not to be a hypocrite, but instead choose to be a legalist. I don't see how this is more Christ like.
This is fascinating history. So Methodists bent the rules of communion to better align with their politics. They exploited a loophole so they wouldn’t be hypocrites.
Jesus didn’t turn water into grape juice
