Two years since ive been there i was not tall enough for piraten but i rode juvelen it was awesome and its the only time ive been to jurs Sommerland and dargekongen looks awesome i Think its rime to Go back
@@DinMal I mean why? They have many great attractions like: Vandland water park that opened in 1985. but why not 1 dark ride since they been open since spring of 1981. I have sent them a message about this, but got no reply back yet. 2 of my fav theme parks for dark rides are Eftelng + Europa Park.
@@DinMal But i feel they shouldn't do that, i remember some days when i went there and it would rain so rides had to close(apart from: Cannibal Pots) :-( If they had a Dark Ride, and then another indoor attraction like: a museum that would of been great and could of done that years ago! As for Legoland Billund for: Dark Rides(yeah i know)-been there many times over the years . And also been shown on TV documentaries + programmes like-Wish You Were Here about the Theme Park in the UK along with pics etc in UK Magazines. etc
@@mikekaraoke You have the point. Visitors should have the choice for indoor rides, especially during rainy days. I never realize this until you pointed it out. My last trip to Djurs Sommerland was 2019. I remembered it was raining that day. Since most of the rides are outdoor and we didn't want to get ourselves soaking wet, we ended up spending almost 2hrs in the Pirate's Food Market for coffee and ice-creams. Went to theme park just for coffee and ice-cream, what a waste of money .. haha.
Exactly! In fact, I was pretty surprise when I found out that my favourite Ørnen had been replaced by Tigeren when I visited Djurs Sommerland last year. Here is my short video on Tigeren ruclips.net/video/jAFju_ebRvo/видео.html
@@milla08elise63Can be scary for kid just 8 yr old. If you were to try the ride again ... it's better to bring a plastic rain coat with you, else you will be soaking wet. It costs 20 kroner to dry yourself at the machine.
My question is, why dont they have a coaster with in versions? I went there the other day and was amazed by the smoothness and theming of piraten and drage kongen but wanted more intensity and inversions. Ive seen this trend in multible danish parks and I question why this is.
The theory I have is perhaps, the theme parks are trying to have more generic coasters that suits most of the riders. Inversion coasters could be too extreme for some. Just a wild guess :)
I have to admit that the Hottentot Carusel is kinda unfortunate. Still, it is a pretty awesome place for children and I remember it fondly from my childhood. Tomorrow they are opening a new ride called the the 'Dragon King'. which is apparently Europe's fastest and longest roller coaster. Maybe it is time to go back.
I remember being here many times When i was Younger
Good memories ya :)

@@mikekaraoke Maybe Djurs is more focus on outdoor rides instead of dark rides. Btw, Legoland has quite a number of dark rides if you are keen.
